Now THAT is how to film a take-off! Excellent video. Nice and long, minimal zooming and panning and points of interest on there too. I know the Columbia Gorge well and really enjoyed this. Looking forward to watching some of yoyr other Portland vids. Lived for a year half-way up Mt Talbert and remember that small park opening a couple of years back.
I flew on US Airways flight 595 to Las Vegas from Portland a week and a half after you posted this video. MAN that plane needs some serious updating! No music, no movie, not even individual air vents. Some tray tables wouldn't close. The flight attendant had to come around with duct tape to hold them up. LOL! Thanks for sharing the video! Great scenery!
Ummm I'm 99% sure U.S Airways doesn't have Vegas flights from Portland...maybe this was a typo?

Ha! Same on my flight. That plane was the most spartan I'd been on in a long time. It had that aged newspaper feel to it.
