I don't think she learnt that good english with tourists. There is for sure some missionary around that teach them english. I even met Akha people in Thailand who were able to speak proper french due to a ctholic french church in the mountains.

Adequate command of the English language, even more than some Caucasian here in the United States. The interviewer was being an ass though, she asked his name after giving hers and he never bothered to answered only storm her with question.

Her english is very good giving that fact she didn't go to school to learn english. She learned from tourist...and she can communicate with the tourists that's something that we in america probably couldn't complished.

I don't think she learnt that good english with tourists. There is for sure some missionary around that teach them english. I even met Akha people in Thailand who were able to speak proper french due to a ctholic french church in the mountains.

Don't really like the comment since I'm Hmong also, but in a way, it's somewhat true. Just being real, some are still okay though. But I've seen some of them do some real dirt.

he may have reasons why he didn't buy it. when i went to s.e. asia, if you buy from one person, you have to buy from everyone else. and, even if you have bought from someone already, he/she may also make you buy more, more than enough.

Dowee89, do you know why? She is a pure human being. She knows well about happy life of the American Hmongs. She knows people move to Sam-neua, Laos and then to Thailand in the hope going to America. This interview is checking about that. How many Chinese Hmongs looking for similar hope. Finally, Laos will be blamed for not so hospitable.
