This makes me miss my old guild badly. We were the first guild on our server, and, if memory serves me right, the only alliance guild on the server, to obtain the Black Proto-Drakes. Sadly, our guild crumbled in Ulduar, and I would cancel my account shortly after.

I recently returned to WoW, and I can already tell that GOTIR has nothing on the original GOTR. "The Immortal" alone was a huge accomplishment that not everyone could pull off - one little mistake, one LD, could blow it for everyone.

Naxx is easy now, it used to be the one to do. Just like Violet Hold was the dungeon to do when lich was released and BC was the rage they r cake now however some bc raids can cause 80's to wipe cuz people get too cocky.

@TheDominionOfElites when it comes to pvp, paladins have uncontested ability to dominate the field for a while without dying. disc priests when half decently geared can stay alive for stupidly long times WHILE healing a teammate... i would know, i have a disc priest. otherwise it situational, one class with always beat another.

in pve though its fairly balanced... too bad the pve is just so damn boring.

Took a lot of time to figure out strategies and it was a lot harder to get gear back in pre-BC.

now we dont see clicers in raids (world first BWL clear kill was from clicker perspective), we need just 25ppl to focus and we know tacs before trying boss b/c of vids and PTRs

I was. I'm not any "noob"-er then I was before. People are more incapable of doing things like we did back then then now. The game focuses on gear and stats now, not skill. You didn't get epic gear for just doing wintergrasp a few times and you needed to participate in longer games to get more honor, and you needed marks. You don't need marks anymore, honor is easy to get, raids are easier, getting gear is easier. Now, if you weren't in pre-BC... don't talk.

I had world #Naxx40 clear on my old Shammy. It was way easier that pre-nerf Yogg+0 or Anub 25. We were doing it without mods telling us what to do, without learning tactics before from movies, spell lists or whatever. It took longer b/c of untested by players overtuned bosses and big unbalance. Getting worldbuffs for bosses was takeing time. Fighting with d/c's was takieng time.

Sure, not many ppl had chance to clear Naxx, but it was elite not b/c of difficoulty.

In PvE clicking and keybinding doesn't matter, as long as you can see what's going on and know how to keep a good dps.

So far 90% of the players goes from ding 80 - normal raids.

Meh, I think bosses are underpowered in WoW, because why the heck would KT use melee attacks when he has a ton of abilities? Mostly that in W3 his attack was ranged magic... makes really no sense. Blizzard should make normal and advanced server so people that complain about how things are too hard can stay on the easy servers while we, people that want to actually enjoy the game as it is get to play the actual game.

Thats what heroic modes are for.. heroic modes are for those that want a challenge. Try 25 Trial of the Grand Crusader Anub'Arak. Not many guilds in the world have done it, yet.

I think the main problem is all the extra coding. Because, as we all know, Blizzard are lazy and is more busy with Diablo III.

This game is going downwards in quite a speed, and so far they are trying to stop t by adding Catacalysm - promisin more raid. Man, if it turs out to be like WOTLK is now, then leave it. I want to work for gear,to enter heroics, then work hard to enter raids .. not go ToC 10 the day I ding 80 because my guild can. Why should the dps be able to slack? ..

Normals = easy? ....why? a raid should be HARD. Hardmode should be for the, wait .... hardcore raiders? Not another "71 -0 - 0 "specced guy who got good gear.

Heroic should be decent, whilst 10 man NORMAL should be a challenge, and 25 mans quite hard, then comes 10 man hardmode which should be tuned a bit over 25 man-normal-diffculty, then i goes on.
