I couldn't help but cry, my Fiance is deployed overseas for 5 months now and still 5 more months to go, I love my Marine and I'm extremely proud of him I just want him to come home already, I know the corps needs him but so do I. I wouldn't wish this empty feeling on my worst enemy. This helped though, to know I'm not entirely alone

@Kailalala Thank you! I cant wait for his homecoming Im soo anxious its just right around the corner. His deployment is 7 months if he doesnt get extended. Aww hun cherish the time you have with him it goes by soo fast. tht last month was so amazing for us and thats what keeps us going is our memories.
I love this I am a marine girlfriend have been for only 6 months but almost 5 of those months he has been deployed and its been the hardest months of my life. I miss him so much. He is my everything. I cant wait to finally be with him again. Thank you for this video!

i am with a marine right now, just about to graduate from MCT at camp pendleton, i have no idea what deplymeny is like. That's what i think everyday I wake up thinking about him. There isn't a second of the day that I don't think about him, I never take off his dogtags. But really we have only been together for a month on tuesday. It only took us five days to fall each other and its worth it. I am still ayoung girl, finsihing highschool, I love my marine and I'll stand by him no matter what!

lol of course he will come back! lol. its not a deployment so he is safe and sound. lol just very busy, tired, and getting yelled at ALOT. the first week or so is very hard, im not gonna say it gets easier, but you slowly get used to it i guess. just think. everyday you dont see him is a day closer to the next time you see him. and its never goodbye its always simply a see you later just wait a few weeks and the letters will start coming =] send him ALOT he needs it

i remember when my marine was in bootcamp..He Left July 13th 2008. Graduated October 10th. Dates ill never forget. i thought i was going to die that first month. lol. It is a big test on your Relationship, but it made mine much stronger =] Congratulations and Best of luck to yall!! =] We are always here to talk as well!! =]

I am in the same exact situation. Me and my boyfriend haven't been together that long. It's like you get your piece of heaven for a little while then he's gone. But it is a comfort to know were not alone in tough times like this. God bless you all and all your men who are fighting for our freedom. My boyfriend is 19 and I am 16 both of our moms don't mind us being together, but with him being gone its hard for us to be with each other. Throughout his boot trainin i stayed back and supported him and these videos have helped me throughtout him being gone.

Great video but most of the pics on this video are soldiers in the army...not marines. Marines are NOT soldiers. I am a former marine and that is our pet peeve. I support all the troops and all branches of the military though.

i sure hope it does get easier soon. i know i will always remain semper fi to my best friend, but it just gets so hard thinking about how long we'll have to be apart if he gets stationed somewhere far from where i'm at college. with all those stories about how many opportunities there are for marines to be unfaithful, its nice to hear of couples who actually stayed true to each other :)
Yes it is =] but the college thing, he gets leave time, and he can take it at certain times, if he stays stateside it is so much easier, my Marine is in CALI and im in college in Texas, its hard sometimes, we are both always so busy, but we find that ten minutes at two in the morning to talk, and that is the best thing in the world, besides him being here.

lol of course he will come back! lol. its not a deployment so he is safe and sound. lol just very busy, tired, and getting yelled at ALOT. the first week or so is very hard, im not gonna say it gets easier, but you slowly get used to it i guess. just think. everyday you dont see him is a day closer to the next time you see him. and its never goodbye its always simply a see you later just wait a few weeks and the letters will start coming =] send him ALOT he needs it

This was great! By the time mine comes home, it will be 14 months without seeing him. Worth it in the end, but makes me miss the days of having to wait 2 or 3 months between visits! Thanks again!

My boyfriend just left for boot camp today and I'm really upset about it. This is an awesome video. Also my cousin is a Marine and i know its hard for his girlfriend too. It really helped me a lot. Praying for all Marines and loves ones. If anyone has advice please email me.

I feel better now knowing that iam not the only one doing things like the count down (considering that other people think i am...) or wearing his cloths and stuff... thank you for this my boyfriend hasnt left yet for bootcamp but we dont really talk about him leaving in july but i hurts me to know that from there on out our love will only grow though letters and phone calls. i know i will miss him and my heart goes out for all of the USMC girls. I didn't think I could be a usmc girl but all the support out there has really helped me. my recruit proposed to me in his last letter and also called me to get my answer! it wasn't exactly how I expected a proposal to be but hey, our relationship won't be normal anywho right ?! lol SEMPER FI

i remember when my marine was in bootcamp..He Left July 13th 2008. Graduated October 10th. Dates ill never forget. i thought i was going to die that first month. lol. It is a big test on your Relationship, but it made mine much stronger =] Congratulations and Best of luck to yall!! =] We are always here to talk as well!! =]

It's a great relief to know that I'm not alone in this suffering with him gone, and that others know exactly what i'm going through. Great video but most of the pics on this video are soldiers in the army...not marines. Marines are NOT soldiers. I am a former marine and that is our pet peeve. I support all the troops and all branches of the military though.

i sure hope it does get easier soon. i know i will always remain semper fi to my best friend, but it just gets so hard thinking about how long we'll have to be apart if he gets stationed somewhere far from where i'm at college. with all those stories about how many opportunities there are for marines to be unfaithful, its nice to hear of couples who actually stayed true to each other :)

Yes it is =] but the college thing, he gets leave time, and he can take it at certain times, if he stays stateside it is so much easier, my Marine is in CALI and im in college in Texas, its hard sometimes, we are both always so busy, but we find that ten minutes at two in the morning to talk, and that is the best thing in the world, besides him being here.

Yep, made me cry too, but so true! Thank's for this video! My Marine is currently deployed to the Middle East. To anyone who hasn't already, I highly suggest joining an online support group. USMC Gals and Combat Boots and Heels are too really good ones, and I'm sure there are a lot of other great groups as well. It helps so much!
