on 'the search for the next doll' there was the same performace obviously on the same day (Cause they are all wearing the same clothes at the same place) and the search for the next doll contestants were back up dancers...

They must have performed this twice, once for the 'search for the next doll' with the contestants in it. Then they MUST have performed it again for the actual CD:USA broadcast
