D.O.A. by The Haunted is laughably easy in Rock Band 2. You can turn up the TV, set the microphone next to it, walk away, and come back and see a 100%. There's really no challenge at all to it (which is why you don't see any videos for it).
I don't really like my falsetto. There are occasional songs where it works "ok" because the original singer has a "lighter" sounding voice, but I'll only use it if I absolutely need it to hit a note since the vocal texture of my falsetto is so different from the rest of my range.
Because my vocal range is pretty low, this usually means I transpose a lot of songs down 1 octave - I still sing on pitch, I'm just singing lower (which can have unintended and amusing consequences sometimes).
It started way back when RB vocalists were being flamed for sounding like a robot when singing in game.
Basically it is a proof to the ignorant ppl who don't understand the restrictions when singing on RB that us vocalists can still sing the song with passion rather than the robotic sounding that is required to get 100% on the song.
None of the above. It's a community project to convince people to stop humming and mumbling songs when they're posting videos on YouTube of vocals performances in Rock Band. Partly because there's too many people who think all Rock Band vocalists do that, and frankly those cheesy mute-mic videos make the rest of us look bad. :p
Why post someone humming anyway? Who would want to watch that? Either way, you can still get 100% in Rock Band while putting effort and emotion into the song and not sounding completely robotic. That's part of the reason why GHWT vocals suck so much.
Great job

Man i like the sound of your voice, it's on pitch but you sing it your own way and i also like how you rarely go into falsetto! Keep it up bro!

I don't try for first place scores when posting videos. Squeezing points on overdrive activations usually screws with the aesthetics.
I did go back afterwards and get the first place score on PSN on this song, though with something like 257,148.
