Don isn't the utter social conservative redneck he appears to be. He just wants Canadians to be proud of their country and stick up for it and work hard at whatever they do and not look for government handouts. I don't think Don took it well, because that suggests he had to "tolerate" Scott Thompson. I don't think so. It was just 2 guys having a good time. Their sexuality was irrelevant and I like that. i love seeing a gay guy who's mannerisms don't piss me off. i don't really know any personally, but just from seeing them in the media a lot make me cringe but scott is just another average guy. he doesn't act intensely feminine or just perpetuate the horrible stereotype. keep in mind i only know less then a handful of gay men so my view is probably distorted.
