  • i've never heard anything like the noise she makes at 2.44! what a voice!

  • she was the most beautiful and feminine and enchanting during this era.

  • In concerts, there must be the greatest silence from the audience when a musician performs.Don't they want to listen clearly?

  • I agree, the cheering is VERY anoying! I'm an american, and I think they should shut up!

  • Silly, loud, annoying americans.

  • @perydwyn People are the same all over the world.

  • @lehnrik

Ive been to lots of gigs in my life, and English audiences are not this level of annoying...Had the misfortune of standing next to an group of americans at a Muse gig once, and had to move away (losing my place near the front which I had arrived 8 hours early to que to get), because they were just so damned annoying.

  • Les gens sont ridicule et indisciplinés...

Ils hurlent pendant que Bjôrk chante, ne respectent pas.

  • i prefer meredith monk, but it's ok

  • Damn Americans and your stupid comments and screaming, so annoying. Shut up and listen to the beautiful music.

  • @yuichituba funny that the song was written by an amarican...why are these idiots at a bjork concert? did they get in by mistake?

  • Shit, it will be possible to have the privilege of being attending a presentation like that and of not being connected to 1000 % with her. I might not avoid it.

  • I'm learning how to do that... It was like, Horse for, "shut the hell up, I'm singing here!" lol Shoot, I would'a been shouting too if I were there. So innovative, this woman

  • @Bleak or dolphin for "security!!!!!"

  • This audience is so odd! I would never just shout things at such a performer. This isn't Hole. That's really very strange.

  • I ran into her in May but I'd much rather see her perform!!!

  • beautiful,

wish the foolish crowd words were edited out, they are disrespectful

  • I love Bjork but the orginal is much better

  • BJORK IS THE BEST

  • This a Meredith Monk song! WOW! I love Bjork and I absolutely love Meredith! Gotham Lullaby. Look for it at YouTube.

  • god damnit this audience is irritating

  • Oh they where. Second year was worse. I was nearly crushed. HA!

  • -_-' Wow, her fans are really enjoying her tonight... The "horse scream" as someone named it, is why I love this artist. Always has something up her sleeve, and that was...unexpected.

  • please...i need the lyrics...please

  • there are no lyrics to this

  • Exactly, it's all about the vocal sounds, not words.

  • That´s "horse scream" its in the end of the song modern things too

  • @manzumdg Christ, I have been listening to Post for 11 years and I thought that was a bird! I've seen her do this live, but I never connected it. Just went back to listen to it and sure enough it is her.

  • beautiful!!!! that soud is great!!!, and she´s pregnant right?? se looks so cute!!

  • this song is included in "Björk in Paris" a very rare live album. But this video is not from paris. It's from her Greatest Hits World Tour. While Björk In Paris is from her Vespertine Tour.

  • where and when was this?

  • fuji rock 2001 festival, japan

    i think

    greatest hits era

  • This is a cover of Meredith Monk's "Gotham Lullaby" released on her album "Dolmen Music" on the ECM label. It's also on Brodsky Quartet's "Moodswings".

  • eso que hizo con la garganta le quedo espectacular!

  • wowi cool song!unfortunately not on cd :-/

  • thank you very very much for sharing it!

  • * comes back from changing his underwear* Thank you SO much for this post

  • living legend!

  • "I dare you to take it off!" What a cunt.

  • word.

  • he said I dare you to take me on

it's a line from Five Years.

but he is a idiot nontheless

  • what jerks. Björk is singing, not you kids. but i do agree with the one girl, her belly was beautiful when she was pregnant!

  • jerks

  • Ugh!

    This song is BEAUTIFUL!!!

So it was written by Merideth Monk?

Is it on any of Bjork's Albums?

    cuz I absolutely LOVE IT!

    She's just so Angelic

    ^_~

  • I have all her cd's so I know that the song is unreleased. But perhaps Björk is going to released a cd with all b-sides and unreleased tracks, but I don't know!

  • this song is a cover from meredith monk

  • thanky you

  • I think you can actually find a recording of this on a brodsky quartet and friends album

  • This is a cover of Meredith Monk's "Gotham Lullaby" released on her album "Dolmen Music" on the ECM label. It's also on Brodsky Quartet's "Moodswings".

  • Yes, thanks you. Brodsky Quartet and Björk also worked together.

  • you can totally find it on emule

  • there are listeners and there are listeners

most of the listeners are the ones who listen

    whilst the other listeners hear

  • those who hear aren't listeners though

  • that's... basically the gist of what I was saying.

you can hear... and then you can listen.

to hear is to be a Listener.

    to listen is to hear.

  • yeah I know, I just merely corrected terminology. Funny to call the "other type" of listeners listeners aswell, (the type that only hears). The point was understood nevertheless

  • :]

    it's what I do.

  • Those guys were being so rude and disrespectful. She is always so full of loving treats for everyone when she performs, and even more so with this Merideth Monk cover, what a suprise...Did you see how she kept herself composed, what a woman!

  • Yeah, it's really sexy how she keeps her composure.

  • Btw, what's that chittering noise at 2:45? It's cool. =D

  • It's the Raccoon noise! (j/k that's what my friend and I call it)

  • It's her voice. She did the same when she sang It's Oh So Quiet at Taratata (french show) which you can find on the DVD that came with the live boxset.

  • Enchanting.

  • I have never been to a Bjork concert, but I hate it when the audience sings during your favorite part of the song.

    "I'm Scandinavian too!"

    I'm sure she cares

"Bjork, I dare you take me on!"

Ok, that was kind of funny in a corny way.

  • Is it "I dare you take me on!" or "I dare you to take it off!" I'm not sure now. I initally heard the latter. Regardless, both are dumb.

  • I thought it was take me on---like in the lyrics of "5 Years"

  • the audience should really shut up! What are they on pills or something? A bit of crowd noise is ok but they take the piss

  • The audience seems sincere and very sarcastic at the same time? But as always she is still amazing through it all lol.

  • Haha! I'm pretty sure they were just very excited, they completely shut up when she begins to sing. Also, that song is actually written by Merideth Monk, in case anyone was interested.

  • what a lousy audio. whats up with the crowd? was this a festival in retard city?

  • yeah... it was in coachella (festivals). i was there, watching through binoculars.

its been my experience that quite a few bjork fans are rather re-re... and not in the silly/funny way :\

but i've and i will put up with them time and time again just to hear her live :).. while trying to tune out the ridiculous concert banter/BS.

  • OMG!!! I wanna cry!!!!!!!!!! Omg Omg she is unique!! I want to give her a huge hug!!!! she looks adorable!!!<3
