Ive been to lots of gigs in my life, and English audiences are not this level of annoying...Had the misfortune of standing next to an group of americans at a Muse gig once, and had to move away (losing my place near the front which I had arrived 8 hours early to que to get), because they were just so damned annoying.
Shit, it will be possible to have the privilege of being attending a presentation like that and of not being connected to 1000 % with her. I might not avoid it.
I'm learning how to do that... It was like, Horse for, "shut the hell up, I'm singing here!" lol Shoot, I would'a been shouting too if I were there. So innovative, this woman
-_-' Wow, her fans are really enjoying her tonight... The "horse scream" as someone named it, is why I love this artist. Always has something up her sleeve, and that was...unexpected.
@manzumdg Christ, I have been listening to Post for 11 years and I thought that was a bird! I've seen her do this live, but I never connected it. Just went back to listen to it and sure enough it is her.
this song is included in "Björk in Paris" a very rare live album. But this video is not from paris. It's from her Greatest Hits World Tour. While Björk In Paris is from her Vespertine Tour.
This is a cover of Meredith Monk's "Gotham Lullaby" released on her album "Dolmen Music" on the ECM label. It's also on Brodsky Quartet's "Moodswings".

I have all her cd's so I know that the song is unreleased. But perhaps Björk is going to released a cd with all b-sides and unreleased tracks, but I don't know!

yeah I know, I just merely corrected terminology. Funny to call the "other type" of listeners listeners aswell, (the type that only hears). The point was understood nevertheless
Those guys were being so rude and disrespectful. She is always so full of loving treats for everyone when she performs, and even more so with this Merideth Monk cover, what a suprise...Did you see how she kept herself composed, what a woman!
It's her voice. She did the same when she sang It's Oh So Quiet at Taratata (french show) which you can find on the DVD that came with the live boxset.
Haha! I'm pretty sure they were just very excited, they completely shut up when she begins to sing. Also, that song is actually written by Merideth Monk, in case anyone was interested.
i've never heard anything like the noise she makes at 2.44! what a voice!

she was the most beautiful and feminine and enchanting during this era.

In concerts, there must be the greatest silence from the audience when a musician performs.Don't they want to listen clearly?

I agree, the cheering is VERY anoying! I'm an american, and I think they should shut up!

there are listeners and there are listeners
most of the listeners are the ones who listen
whilst the other listeners hear
nihilo9 4 years ago
those who hear aren't listeners though
Shonaripa 2 years ago
that's... basically the gist of what I was saying.
you can hear... and then you can listen.
to hear is to be a Listener.
to listen is to hear.
nihilo9 2 years ago
yeah I know, I just merely corrected terminology. Funny to call the "other type" of listeners listeners aswell, (the type that only hears). The point was understood nevertheless

I have never been to a Bjork concert, but I hate it when the audience sings during your favorite part of the song.
"I'm Scandinavian too!"
I'm sure she cares
"Bjork, I dare you take me on!"
Ok, that was kind of funny in a corny way.
sanriosanrio 4 years ago
Is it "I dare you take me on!" or "I dare you to take it off!" I'm not sure now. I initally heard the latter. Regardless, both are dumb.
doubled7 4 years ago
I thought it was take me on---like in the lyrics of "5 Years"
sanriosanrio 4 years ago
the audience should really shut up! What are they on pills or something? A bit of crowd noise is ok but they take the piss
dayglowjoe 4 years ago
The audience seems sincere and very sarcastic at the same time? But as always she is still amazing through it all lol.

Typhoon75124 5 years ago
yeah... it was in coachella (festivals). i was there, watching through binoculars.
its been my experience that quite a few bjork fans are rather re-re... and not in the silly/funny way :\
but i've and i will put up with them time and time again just to hear her live :).. while trying to tune out the ridiculous concert banter/BS.
