Wow, I have had many a dinner there, I was thrown across the tables once in a bar fight (late 70's). I want to came back there again, and hope to have another good meal at the OST. Former resident
omg! i waz there betch!!! PCFD thats rick pulling the hose loser and my dads the one all decked out in buncker gear!!! lol great day.... at least we saved ost (old soggy tacos )
omg. Thank God it's back open. I've only been to Bandera once but I thought the OST burned down and I wanted to cry bc i love EVERYTHING about bandera. We have been planning to go back. And the John Wayne stuff in the OST is just amazing. The nicest people I have ever met was in Bandera and not to mention one of the most beautiful places.
I spoke with my dad Rudy Robbins on Sunday, Oct. 28, 2007. He said that thankfully NOTHING in the OST burned-- only some smoke got in there, and none of his memorabilia was damaged at all. The OST was open a week later and didn't even smell like smoke!
First day of high school, and one of the best resturants in town catches fire. Nice way to end the day. Got my screaming voice on channel 4 news. X)

That is a relief to hear, ejody. Thanks for the response. I guess I will have to head on back to the OST for a look!

its open again for business, luckily they had firewalls and it protected the ost but surronding businesses were a total loss.

I ate there the night before,... Who's that hippie bicyclist standing in front of you? He's responsible.
