Another fun fact about the first Night of the living dead movie is that theres probably about a million different companies who make it because its not copy righted so anyone can just make theyre own copy of it and sell it on dvd and not get in deep shit for it. So if you ever walk into a video store and see like 8 different copies of the first night with different covers thats why.
Tom savini didnt do the makeup for it but he had guys who were in his crew for day of the dead to hekp him out with that. No harm done though you were fine in your review. I think he says that on the special features and the commentary.

Planet of the apes doesn't hold a candle to The Dead Series. Great show on Romero. Ya gotta do a classic show on Wes Craven. On some of his finest work. Like The Last House On The Left, The Hills Have Eyes, A Nightmare On Elm Street, and Scream. I'm talking classic Wes not new Wes with him making airplane movies. I'm talkin classic take no shit Wes Craven.
