we made a go kart with a whipper snipper motor today and got my little brother in to drive it. he was rippin up, but when i tried to drive it i couldn't make it up the slope lol

@jay3130 my kart is geared 25 to 1 which is impossible with 2 sprockets so it has to have an intermediate shaft so two sets of chain and sprockets both about 5 to 1

i made one that was a go kart for me to drive. one snipper for front and back!.

the video driver is about 40 kg but it will pull my 90kg alright around the same circuit but wont pull uphill from a standing start

The kart has a 25cc motor mounted under the drivers right leg in front of the seat,I geared it down to a 23 to 1 ratio for a top speed of 25 kmh at 9000rpm but can still pull out of thick grass.The gears used are pushbike chain and sprockets through an intermediate shaft,the sprockets are 10t to 52t then 11t to 48t at the back axle.The pedals are door hinges with a bit of 10mm bar welded on.
