@cntwejstprtnd Don't be so offended. My father is partially deaf and he is just as good or better than most people at certain things. I am not amazed when he accomplishes things. What amazes me about this particular video is her ability to stay in touch with the music on a high level. This is completely different from non auditory activities such as playing baseball. Being deaf is a severe disadvantage in dancing to music so of course I feel She deserves recognition.

obviously, this is fake. Unless she became fully deaf recently, she would not know of proper mouth muscle use to pronounce words, as she's never actually heard herself use them. Not only that, her choreography is far too good. If she DID become deaf recently, she wouldn't be able to have the sensitivity to pick up music through vibration. Well I liked the dance. It doesn't make sense though. How are you able to know the song's rhythm and tune if you are deaf?
