I just checked her other videos. She's an excellent player. I can only say that this was recorded by someone that doesn't know that you have to turn the levels down when it's pegging into distortion. NETSIC YOU SHOULD REMOVE THIS!!! IT'S AN EMBARRASSMENT TO A TALENTED (and beatiful) ARTIST.

She has talent, but this sounds horrendous! If she knows that is sounds this bad, or if it sounds like that in concerts, she is off her rocker (or she's a closet rocker). But come on, let's hear the wood of the guitar, not some terribly over-driven noise. There is overdrive that sounds good, but this isn't it. Too bad - she might be very good, I'd love to hear her acoustically.

@cavv54 I think its hard to tell if she plays uncleanly or not through this video. I can see that she has great technique. It sounds less clean, if anything, because she uses a lot of stacatto instead of sustaining the notes.

By that i mean it is Caprice no 24. It wasnt Paganin who wrote these by the way. It was Pietro Locateli but Paganini was reputed to be the first person who was able to play them. But still a top post. You play well

Actually they were simply inspired by Locatelli's 1732 pieces- they are not the same, and in fact Locatelli was a violin virtuoso himself and could play his own songs roughly 100 years before Paganini's 24 caprices, so Paganini certainly wasn't the first. :)
