  • This came out just as I was going to Uni in 86. The album 'Baby the stars shine bright' is one of my all time favourites and a shame it wasn't more widely recognised. Thanks for putting this on.

  • yes its nice hear it again thanx 4 uploading and please baby come home

  • Just a beautiful track XXXXXXXX

  • I play this at Christmas, I think it's the bells.

  • By god mate,I have never felt so old,I was reminded that this track came out 22yrs ago !!! were did they go ??? heehaw, life goes on mate. just to let you know that the band are still listened to xxcc

  • I can mind when this first came out and it did not do well,as you can imagine I was well pissed off but it has now become a classic but that does not take away from the fact that some bodies don't appreciate good music, all they want to hear is bang bang bang and if that happens in mid spilf the better, fuck that.

  • Does anyone knows where I can find this song in mp3?

  • A truly great pop song and great orchestration.

  • Great to see this on here! I love Baby the Stars Shine Bright - my fave EBTG album. AND my mum (who is 72) loves this song! (She went with us to see them back in the 80s in concert.)

  • My fave EBTG as well, you ahve great taste ;)

  • Awesome tune. i love the line "everyday without you is like Christmas day, its cold and theres nothing to do"

  • Great song and like so many masterpieces was never a hit - I too loved the Baby The Stars Shine Bright album but it was panned at the time and never got the recognition it deserved...great to find it here on You Tube thanks Louism for posting it!

  • Such an underestimated masterpiece. Everything about this song is so perfect, Vocals, Lyrics, Orchestration and Sweet Jesus what a voice. I have loved this song for many years and I would not be reluctant to describe it as the song of the century. If you want to know how to compose the perfect song, watch and learn.

  • Their back catalogue is great too.

  • Such an awesome song, never saw the video before. Baby The Stars Shine Bright is my favorite album of theirs - just perfect all the way through.

  • The song had been my favourate for the last 22 years -

'England dont love you and she never will' it never fails - the acoustic and japanese import versions are just stunning with Tracy singing and Ben on the Piano

Thanks Tracy and Ben - for everything

    JR-Stockport to Bath to California

  • I would drive around town in my '85 Toyota Corolla singing this song at the top of my lungs thinking I sounded just like Tracey, yeah right.

  • so true mate.

  • Great idea to post this video!

I discovered them with this song. I was listening TV while reading when I got caught by her voice. It was a ten seconds extract but it's been enough for me to want to know their music.

They are great musicians and singers. Real pure pleasure...

  • Probably my favorite song from them. I have loved it for years. I used to sing this at the top of my lungs while driving around in my '85 Toyota Corolla thinking I sounded just like Tracy. Yeah, right I can't even hold a note. But that didn't stop me from loving this song and this group.

  • same with me mate but mines was an 81 Toyota corolla deluxe LOL

  • Wow, havent seen this video for 22 years! One of my favourite songs. Reminds me of being 14 years old again. The whole album , Baby The Stars Shine Bright, was epic.

  • When this came out I was living down London and my girlfriend at the time was back up in Liverpool. She was playing this all the time when I was away. Brings back nice memories.

  • "Every day's like Christmas Day without you, it's cold and there's nothing to do"

    Classic line

  • Absolutely gorgeous. If I ever blow my brains out on Christmas Day, I guarantee this song will be playing on my CD player. (I mean that as a compliment.)
