sax player john helliwell of supertramp. not john irish earle of rumour brass past. although irish was part of phonogram records/thin lizzy/g parker gang. real r/b vibe w/ this ditty. van the man for sure.
That shiner is something most of us had. I had a few. There is nothing better than standing up to idiots brave enough to throw a punch. That fist was part of his history, a flash in the past. The fist fades and the ache and black eye heal. But the lessons you take from those are priceless! A war wound to wear proudly. Phil knew what he wanted, and no one could tell him otherwise. If they tried, he would just turn around and dance in the moonlight, even when it was a full eclipse. :)
what a punched eye! but this song is about troubol so ehe.. /snap Defender bass leather pants ''tight' a bass riff song and a voice that sounds like heaven! easy to learn but hard to learn right.
scott Gorham why do Media have to cut him out he was so sexy back then man with style !
Snowy White wasnt quiet right for Thin Lizzy either. If you prefer Gary Moore he kills it with his guitar brillance on that song WITH LOVE chex it out .!!
@1jackiea yoy cant even begin to compare brian robertson to gary moore ! even scott gorham still says he couldnt keep up with gary ,he couldnt reach garys tone of playing or match his melodic instincts
Just as good in concert as they are on the album, FACT.
Saw the reformed, new Lizzy this year in London, and they were amazing, they were different, but they rocked just as hard as the original, this was covered amazingly!
@Adamisarocker09 A guy called Ricky Warwick, really good frontman, plays some guitar as well, his voice has the same timbre as Phil's, but he isn't doing the John Sykes thing of copying Phils voice, really good frontman, really good show all round, well worth the price of admission!!
@Cptjackjacky erm, dunno what you are talking bout, sure they were amazing live.. but this isnt exactly live.. only thing thats live is phils singing.. everything else is from the recording.. pretty lame imo since they shone when they got to play their songs live.
@Rosenkvist90 I'm saying that the new Lizzy line up is great, and well worth going to see, they perform this, obviously, and it's amazing, it's worth going to download to see them
no se ven com muchas ganas de tocar en este video!
