  • Great playing mate. That concertina is lucky to have you and I guess you're lucky to have it.

  • Salut

Je suis Français, et je trouve ta vidéo très bonne.

J'ai une partition pour jouer Katyusha, mais il me manque un petit morceau afin de retourner au début. Est ce que tu peux me donner les notes qui me manque?

    Merci.

  • @tomconcertina Quels petits morceaux manquants est votre musique?

  • @beach1963

    Finalement, c'est bon!

    All is good!

    Bye

  • dude!...by the look on your face, you look like your having way too much fun!

  • @imnathan79 Hi... that concertina still needed to have some adjustments made to it so at the time of the video it wasn't very easy to play yet. Plus, I was a little video-shy while learning both the new video setup as well as the new concertina. :-)

  • Is there anywhere i can get the notes for Katyusha? I have the same concertina and i've been dieing to learn how to play that song!!

  • Nice :)

  • Thank you... check out some of the "Old World at the New World" videos I've posted in the last half year, I've got more songs under my belt now. :)

  • please can you let me know what model of concertina you play? where to buy it? i plan to buy and learn to play concertina (currently obssesed with thinwhistle). thank you

  • Молодец!

  • спасибо :)

  • very very good exlent

  • Thank you!

    Jen

  • your really good at playing that! i got mine yestderday and cant figure out how to play it ... lmao

  • Just stay at it, it isn't hard once your fingers remember where the notes are!

    Jen

  • Love it:D

  • Thank you very much! I was just getting used to that concertina and I made the video so I'd have some before/after comparisons for after I became accustomed to it.

    Jen

  • are you russian? :)) btw your play was very good!:))

  • Thank you! No, I'm not Russian, but I am Norwegian/Polish/Ukranian from my father, Scottish/Irish from my Mother, and I live in Florida, USA. I love playing concertina, and eventually will put more videos up here.

  • Thats cool. That has a really nice sound to it

  • Thanks! It's actually a cheap Chinese knockoff that I bought so that I wouldn't wear out a good one while playing at festivals, and it needed some modifications made to make it really playable, so I won't recommend them to anyone else... but the reeds sound good! Redneck Casanova here on Youtube helped modify it.

  • Hi Jen

Nice playing and it sounds great.

I just got the same concertina, how did you modify it?

    Thanks

    Andy

  • I moved the handles about an inch farther down the body so that my fingers could reach the key of G row much more easily without my fingers having to bend down so much.
