Je suis Français, et je trouve ta vidéo très bonne.
J'ai une partition pour jouer Katyusha, mais il me manque un petit morceau afin de retourner au début. Est ce que tu peux me donner les notes qui me manque?
@imnathan79 Hi... that concertina still needed to have some adjustments made to it so at the time of the video it wasn't very easy to play yet. Plus, I was a little video-shy while learning both the new video setup as well as the new concertina. :-)
please can you let me know what model of concertina you play? where to buy it? i plan to buy and learn to play concertina (currently obssesed with thinwhistle). thank you
Thank you very much! I was just getting used to that concertina and I made the video so I'd have some before/after comparisons for after I became accustomed to it.
Thank you! No, I'm not Russian, but I am Norwegian/Polish/Ukranian from my father, Scottish/Irish from my Mother, and I live in Florida, USA. I love playing concertina, and eventually will put more videos up here.
Thanks! It's actually a cheap Chinese knockoff that I bought so that I wouldn't wear out a good one while playing at festivals, and it needed some modifications made to make it really playable, so I won't recommend them to anyone else... but the reeds sound good! Redneck Casanova here on Youtube helped modify it.
I moved the handles about an inch farther down the body so that my fingers could reach the key of G row much more easily without my fingers having to bend down so much.
Great playing mate. That concertina is lucky to have you and I guess you're lucky to have it.
