THAT'S the RIGHT way to do it!!! I'm so glad you took her to the ped's office for this!!! It should be LAW that only peds can pierce children's ears. It's so much safer and less painful!!!
The procedure was done exceptionally well! Your baby is beautiful. I'm researching because I will be piercing my baby girl's ears soon; she's 3 months now. Where did you get your baby's ears pierced (city, pediatrician)? We live in Los Angeles, any recommendations? I don't want to do it at the mall. I want a calm and relaxing atmosphere for my baby/ the procedure.
@Prizma16 I'm a nurse and I HIGHLY recommend going to the pediatrician's office for the ear piercing. DEMAND a numbing cream. Ped's offices don't use those horrible automatic guns which can cause tissue damage and a lot of pain. No baby should have to feel pain for a medically unnecessary procedure. I understand you want her ears pierced, and though it's not something I recommend at such a young age, I do know there is a right way and a wrong way to do it. Please choose carefully!
i get my ears pierced by my mom . she buys 14 karrat gold earings with acrylic paint on them for color . then we go home and into her room. (she has VERY comfy pillows). she hold a pillow on her lap so i can lie down on it . she takes 1 earring and v e r y y y y y y s l o w l y pushes it in my ear (cartatidge).
i got my ears pierced when i was a baby too!
