  • Actually like trish379 said it's from his "Sound of A Drum (1976) and is the last (3rd.) cut on side B.

  • This is actually from Ralph McDonald's album "Sound of A Drum."

  • Isn't this the "B" side of the original Ralph MacDonald LP back in the day - 70's "A" side was "Let's Jam to The Drummer's Beat" ? Brings back fond memories - Mr. MacDonald is truly yet another musical genius that has had his tunes "sampled" most deservingly-so !

  • If you don't move to these beats....

    You must be dead.

  • @Teardehawkee Even the dead move to this :D

  • @Teardehawkee I feel terrible that I didn't know that Ralph McDonald was the composer of some of my most favorite songs of all-time like Mr. Magic (done by Grover Washington Jr.) and Just The Two Of Us (done by Bill Withers) and Where Is The Love (sung by Donny Hathaway and Roberta Flack). I appreciate composers and lyrists because I am one too. I can at least give my thanks to Ralph on Youtube out of respect for the talent and creativity he had and the legacy he left. --Frank, NYC.

  • My Dad - Urias "Uncle Bougs" Fritz is playing a Heinekin bottle on the track!

  • I think the movie and the whole sdtk is awesome.

  • One of my favorite songs from the soundtrack! Thanks for posting!

  • It wasn't used in the movie. Bee Gees' "Jive Talkin' " is also on the album, but it wasn't used either.

  • @crimsonrx4 I think it was, but it was just a quick snippet of the song.

You're right on Jive Talkin'. That wasn't in the film.

  • That is a really good question! I just watched it about a week ago, and I don't recall hearing this song in the movie!!

  • When was this song played during Saturday Night Fever?
