It is like a soldier throwing a gun over to an enemy soldier who previously had no gun. I consider it one of the most stupid things the west ever did.

They have been able to make a lot of money, they got all the money to be taken out, bankrupted Iran & Iraq with 8 years of war & hundred thousands dead & now stealing Oil & Gas from Caspian sea.

It is clear that the West was at the basis of this radical change, but the role of the iranian people was not without significance.
