if youre setting this up in virtualbox you can just set up your network as "wired" since it is virtually plugged into your host OS....even if THAT is on a wireless network.
I'm very thankfull for this great tutorial. However I have one suggestion that I think is important. You don't explain what the commands are doing, for instance I didn't know what modprobe was, and I'm installing gentoo to get to know linux better.
Just want to add if you are unsure of what build to install using links then punch in the command uname -m and it will give you the recommended one. Great vid :)

Question: I have a working Gentoo 3.10.1. in Virtualbox.
The problem is when when I am try to install Gnome a lot of dependent libraries are still missing.
What is the easiest way to correct this problem.
