There is no one better than Gerald Wilson when it comes to big band jazz. I loved his music when I heard it at the Lighthouse Cafe as a teenager and I still love it now.

The Manhattan Transfer made a remark, Man we are really at a Jazz Festival!
Detroit has the best 4 Day Free Jazz Festival on the planet. And Gerald Wilson is a GEM. He was 92 Years Old that day.
