  • try not to end every run on that index finger.flat tone. yjm wanna be clown.

  • Joe Stump = More Baroque Style playing, A bit more blues based.

Malmsteen = Has a certain fluidity towards his playing, and a more virtuoso touch.

Blackmore = Influenced both of these musicians.

Please get over the silly Neoclassical Guitarist arguments.

  • Nice playing, not diggin the tone though.

  • WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOW JOOOE!!

  • Joe Stump Is Awesome As Well As Yngwie J Malmsteen

  • joe is friggin awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • stump is ten times the player than yngwie will ever be. just because yngwie came first doesnt mean hes better...and as far as the "yngwie style" arguement. yngwie did not invent classical sounding devices. yngwie is basically playing "bach's style" if you want to look at it in that light.

  • Positively "stumptacular"!

  • hate how people say hes and yngwie nockoff they both play they same style of music but joe has more metal backround especially in holy hell yngwie is good but stump is better you can tell the differene when u put the songs between the 2 up and listen to it the biggest difference is that joe doesnt have that almost terret thing of "needing" to slide and bend on the 21st fret

  • @ESPSHREDDER1293 sorry did you just say that "yngwe is good but stump is better"?...because you must come from another world:))

  • @stelistucioby Stump is better.

  • @stelistucioby Stump is better than yngwie, bro. Yngwie is just more popular.

  • @slamkam07

Well, Yngwie is the original, came out in what 1982? Joe plays really good, very clean, but for fury, touch, vibrato and bending Yngwie crushes him.

  • @Chris741113

    "Well, Yngwie is the original"

You're bloody kidding, right? Listen to "Sails of Charon" by Uli Roth.

    Ignorant kids...

  • @keithreeder

Im not a "kid" ok? Im 36 years old and hav heard a lot of stuff including UJR..And I dont hear any lightning fast arppegios or extremely fast alternate picking there at all..Or any neck pick up strat thru a marshall soft toned superfast shredding there at ALL,nthat would put ANY new generation shredder to shame..Ignorant old farts

  • @slamkam07

And around 20 years early..This is Yngs style and Yngs stuff..You really think that Joe never listened to, and was never influenced by, Rising force or marching out? Ok...

  • @slamkam07 LMFAO. Keep playing guitar hero son

  • @WildBillJP That had nothing to do with what anyone said. but sure. I'll keep playing a game you gave up on because you realized you have no skill. No problem.

  • @ESPSHREDDER1293

Joe plays Yngwies style, ok? He came out in 1982 or something. They are not playing "the same style" they are playing Yngwies style, and thats beyond absolutely true. Joe is one, granted on of the better, of many Yngwie clones. The problem is these players (including Joe) take it too far and copy even Yngs dress, his guitar, amp , tone etc etc. This video showing Joe playing something else than a cream strat style guitar might be the start of some individualism

  • Does this guy have no shame.............please cut my ears off and now take out my eyes

  • Does this guy ever wash his hair?

  • big guitar

  • Joe kicks yinwies ass musically and by speed. Awsome!!!!!!

  • @zwerble

Musically?! Did you even listen to Yngs early records? Well, that stuff inspired a whole generation of shredders..While Joe's stuff is a Youtube only phenomena..Speedwise, sure Joe is as fast as Yngwie, but musically? Nowhere near.

  • @Chris741113 Lol thank you. People dont get that here's a HUGE difference between Yngwie, and someone who plays scales and arpeggios super-fast. Stump absolutely IS a watered down version of Yngwie, no doubt about it. Yngwie IS THE Harmonic Minor/Phrygian MASTER!! That is totally and completely HIS THING and no one has yet to even come close to knocking him from the spot. Stump's note choice, songwriting, and originality just do not compare. I'm sorry but Yngwie is in a league of his own.

  • I prefer the sweeter fender style tone

  • great! with maple neck it would look much better IMO

  • Lol, this specific tone that he has here, sharp and dunno, edgy, reminds me of Paganini at the high notes and fast alternate runs.

  • Todo un genio neoclassico (velocidad, sentimiento y tecnica)

  • @Cuvbe1 totalmente de acuerdo

  • sick shreddd

  • guitar is finished in nitrocellulose lacquer for the ultimate in tone? o.O

  • Stump rules!

  • amazing!!!!

  • it think this guitar is better for him..

  • i want that guitar!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • looks nice, would look alot better with a maple neck tho lol

  • amazing guitar, awesome player!

  • That guitar sounds killer!

  • i like his ESPs way better! these aren't bad except for the stupid cut away. at least he maintains his single coil sound!

  • @thebrutalpostman

You mean the Blackmore/Yngwie sound right? Not at all HIS sound

  • Damn Nice!!

  • Looks and sounds killer!!!
