To the commentors... when your voices match those of the Angels in Heaven, then you might have a right to be critical. Any song that displays love for God is beautiful to me.
Thank God... he looks at the hearts. If it was up to the commentors only "professinally trained" people could sing to their Lord. I imagine God was pleased wit the song. Perhaps people should alter their standards. i used to sing in our church recitals every Christmas and Easter. They sounded beautiful... but we had rehearsed the joy right out of each song.
I get it about having an ensemble that doesn't require an audition. But you could consider requiring SOLOISTS to LEARN THE WORDS!
Also, it's pronounced MOON-goo. Consider investing in a recording of a song you're going to perform publicly. This song is somewhat of a standard with choirs and ensembles. There's really no excuse for doing it incorrectly. Really, all you had to do was look on YouTube to get the basic pronunciations correct.
They stay true to the arrangement of the song, the voices are not starting and finishing at the same time when they sing o tu sifuni mungu. They're alright... The conductor is overacting though... Peace!
if u had bothered 2 read the 'more info' on ur right hand side u would know that "Revelation Rock Gospel Choir. Rev is a christian-based choir, which aims at allowing anyone to sing in the choir. Therefore, no auditions are required to sing in the choir. Also, the choir is completely student-run--taught aurally(lines by lines, without scores) and conducted by students" none of the students are professional singers, or study music and are taught and managed by non-professional students ..
