gosh she takes forever to let go off him eg.3:50 and 3:04 ...they made those parts look very difficult :S i hope they improve..althought nervousness can do that to people...maybe she was having a bad day....wasn't feeling well....anymore excuses idk...
I think some people are being a little harsh - her technique wasn't at all terrible. Yeah, some of her fouettes had me gasping in fear but overall it wasn't half bad. The only thing I would really comment on is the change to the choreography for the pas de deux -- yeesh! Oh, and the spirit isn't quite there, especially when compared to Osipova. But I mean, anything looks barely passable when compared to Osipova.
how could you compare margot fonteyn with the technique of this girl i know margot fonteyn hadnt the best technique but it was cleaner than this garbash!!!
i think its a shame this performance it doesnt have all the spirit a kitri and a basilio should and basilio you sould stop drinking beer and eating cakes!!!!!besides this how could they change the beautiful choreography of marius petipa!!!!! :s
Correct me if I'm wrong --but is that not Stacey Shiori Minagawa & Richard Landry from National Ballet of Canada? What was this done for? Competition? Gala?
Although I appreciate the technical know-how the dancers demonstrated in this graceful performance, I was less than thrilled with all the changes made to the choreography.
The original choreography is by Marius Petipa. The original choreography is incredible and perfect as it is. Petipa gave the world a gift. When someone changes Petipa's choreography that person is dishonoring the gift Petipa gave us.
very decent performance. I would like to know a bit of your background, that is your frequency of training etc. I know how hard it is to put it all together, and, believe me, I appreciate what you have done here immensely. However, I know both of you have way more to deliver. Congratulations, and best wishes for continuity!
Why does everybody think this is so horrible? Aside from the coda, the rest was really good. And the coda wasn't even that bad.

Technique could have been way better. She's pretty ungraceful too. She uses her arms like an ice skater or a gymnast or something.
