A breathtaking improvisation noone else can do but Blackmore only. I like the bluesy elements he brought to his solo...kind of remind me of his masterful gig in Deep Purple's song Mistreated.

I'm not putting down blackmore buy no means but i can only think 1 maybe 2 other players I could compair with those three guys. Somebody help me I can only think of one and he's dead... the guys you mention are great guitarists but blackmore is great and he is still rocking.

Seen all of the players you mentioned several times, love them all, and Blackmore holds his own with every one of them. And he's still playing great. Can't say that for Page or Clapton. Page hasn't played well for 25 years! He was awful with The Firm 20 years ago, Sloppy and totally burned out. He's awful live.

Agree seen Bob Dylan lately? He's another burn out worst concert ever about 8 years ago here in Oklahoma City. He had one of those things so he could read his lines in the songs and still blew it? I haven't seen blackmore since 78 or 79 Man on the silver mountain concert but what I could remember of it rocked. I was just going off these guy's hay days. Really it's hard to say who's best because there's so many greats then and now.
