  • HELL YEAH APC

  • native american culture lives on, the buffalo was on the brink of extinction but are now growing in great numbers, more and more people are becoming environmentalist trying to save mother earth, alot of people now turn to native wisdom, when people gain self-esteem the number of suicides will decline along with alcoholism, there are people that are 1/8th,1/10th native american that show their pride.

  • i also have native american history though not much sadly but every little bit i have i take pride in. very good creation

  • they exterminated almost all forms of life of the people and culture, which is why the gov gave them casinos and reservations and give americans false perspectives such as natives getting everything handed to them by the gov, when in reality, the reservations are full of high suicide rates, unemployment, alcoholism rates, and the casinos do NOTHING for the ppl and culture. a lot of natives are americanized- mcdonalds eating, christian, rap lovers. .. its so sad =((

  • you buy em cd flute music.....many blessings... Cloud

  • APC rules. I'm going to an Indian Summit in Arizona this christmas, might even learn more about my tribe :)

  • wow..the english didnt destroy it..i tthink ur find alot off of different cultures decided to try and take there own bit of land..

our islands were plundered for thousands of yrs...and cultures wiped off the face of the earth..we can only read about our tribes...at least you still have your history living and breathing!!

  • tool???

  • @magowizzard A Perfect Circle. Maynard James Keenan's short lived side project band. The same vocalist as TOOL. I love APC more than TOOL, however.

  • nice video --- pretty pictures....

  • This beauty takes my breath away

  • Lovely

  • "how the English destroyed all of that."

Please study your history more closely.

  • The movie is wonderful and took my breath away.

English/Americans one and almost there is a little left but they rape our people and the land we loved and lived upon. They destroyed so much and still are. Why don't you study history a little better Caradoc93

  • I sincerely apologise if I offended you. I only take offence myself at the use of the word "English".

It seems that when the early settlers did something good they were always "the first Americans" and when they did something bad they were "English". To me this seems predjudiced and very unfair.

I agree it is a very moving video and I only disapprove of the use of one word for the reasons stated above. No offense was meant.

  • Well caucasian americans are still considered english to many Native Americans, so no problem, just had to tell you. It is the Americans that do that how English is bad American is good.

  • what 'they' did has nothing to do with us, and shouldn't have any bearing on us. don't be offended, it just adds to all the judgement :)

  • people have destroyed many things. but people also can create. if we can do so, then why don`t we do it? we can recovwer everything. we can return it, the nature will help. we can return our past cultures and fill them with somethig new. i belive, we can. people just have to realise this power. power not tu destroy, but to create.

  • your words are so beautiful! they are also completely true! i hope you can spread this message! :)

  • hey...thanks) so glad to hear this. i can tell it to everyone, but there are not so many people, who will listen to me. there are no need to talk, we have to do something. to start creating. and than there is bigger posibility, that people will join us :)

  • you are too true! action is the best course! you are a very smart person. :)

  • you are right! sometimes people will not listen and that is a terrible shame. showing them is the best thing anyone can do.

  • Let our Native American heritage live on!

Note: I look white yes, but I am 50% Blackfoot, 25% Plain Cree, and 25% french! Metis Much!

  • lol same with me i have 4 kinds of native american in me but im as white as snow lol you can se it in my face & eyes

  • I really liked this, got your point across well. Keep the culture alive guys!!

  • f to the english

  • The English won't say that to you or your culture/ethnicity, please don't say it to us

  • great video, lets preserve our culture...........we are doing that in southeast asia for we are considered as the likes of native americans by some...

  • humanity may pretend to hold some foothold in this sundered planet but ultimately for the planets survival humanity must perish but as she of great creation as no voice in such things slowly her own creation shall seek to destroy her such is the balance of things only when it is to late may we all see what we have done by then of the last days we will morn the loss of a planet only then will science and philosophy mean little in the state of things pace to a future untold

  • what I think the maker of this was trying to say is that remembering ones past is just as important as planning for the future. yes, hatred is quite stupid and I agree with you, but the present condition of most native people can be traced in part to historical injustices and prejudice. though I think you should know, you do make an excellent point, but, I also understand where the maker of this video is coming from. ambivalence is killer...

  • lovely my uncle is called uncle jonh god bless.very very beautiful music

  • such a haunting song a perfect circle rox

  • love and light to all

  • Like spiritualstu said it's all about now.Too many concentrate on where we all came from and lose track of where we're all going from here.

  • A beautiful video but tinged with anger. It is a scientific fact that ALL humans came from the African continent. So, how far back do we want to blame eachother!

Its what we do NOW that will make the difference.

Past hurts and hates are killing this planet...and its people.

    Love & Light to ALL.

  • and it was just not the English. The French too and the Spanish too. The Spanish was mostly responsible for destroying so much of Central & South American cultures too. The western hemisphere was invaded / colonized and the same thing is happening to the Mideast now. ITHACA is a nice video. check it out

  • and the Romans did the same thing to us, about 2000 years ago... sad that history won't stop repeating itself...

  • Actually thats interesting. I think I heard that once in history but it just flew over my head.

  • Damn englishmen. I'm Cherokee and black irish so the english fucked my people over TWICE! I hope England rots in hell for what they've done to the whole world! They have screwed over almost EVERY country. Japan, Africa, Japan, USA, Canada, and so many other places.

  • Sacred ground has a tendency to look beautifull to those who revere it,no matter what it's hospitability factor. The Mojave didn't name it Death Valley, wimpy white men did.

  • don't laugh, we come from colder places, Death Valley is friggin hot compared to places you might find in Europe. I'm kidding, but I get your point, beauty is in the eye of the beholder, as they say.

  • If I remember policy correctly, reservations go where white men would rather not.I seem to remember Geronimo complaining that the rez they wanted to put him on was "where only rocks and rattlesnakes grow".Seminoles were put in Florida swamps, until rich New Yorkers thought that they could go on cool vacations there.Extensions of nature?Yeah, but only the least hospitable kind.

  • i love indians

  • It's by, A perfect Circle "Stranger"...the guy singing is from the band TOOL

  • nice vid... what song is that?

  • The Native American are Turanian People.

We have the biggest fight since 400 years ago.

Indogermanian/europian people killing contioniusly turanian people in Asia, Europe, America (Natives).

If you can understand, the India people in Asia are indogermanian people, therefore this peoples are accepted in USA and Europe. Bu you cannnot find any friends from indogermanian peoples for Turkish, Kazakh, Azeri, Native American, Sakha. Please check your knowledge with the theme Turanian/Turkic People.

  • Native Americans are also Athabascan and Mongolian, which explains why they look Chinese and Siberian. And not Turkish or Iranian.

  • I don't think that it should matter if I'm full blooded, half blooded, or have no Native blood in me at all. I'm proud of my culture, and at least I acknowledge it. That's more than most REAL Native American full-bloods can say.

Beautiful video. You make those who watch it and truly understand very proud.

  • tribe of light

  • It has nothing to do with skin. I am human.

  • It is not destroyed. Do you know what happened to alot of it?

Certain whitemen were reborn with it. There is another generation of Natives that live inside whiteman.

    I am one of them.

It has nothing to do with skin.

  • guapa!

  • ur all just mortals most of u dont even understand the intensity of life this song captures a mere taste of wat it is if u listen carefully therefore a great song choice for a slideshow other then their heavier stuff or that of another band

  • yeah...i guess the only world i have the most control over is the world of me. Respect.

  • i feel you...i wrote this poem called 'Warganism' all about how while everyones talkin' 'bout the fighting in the Middle East there's a bigger war going on...the battle between Earth and Man...Mother Natures fight for survival against (dumbass) humans need to dominate. Respect.

  • if you read my comment accurately you would have seen that i said 'were' extensions of Nature...before Christopher Codumbass began the big takeover! Respect.

  • A great synthesis of Spiritual ideas has swept across the globe amid the rise of the technosphere and the workings of the Spirit that we hold so dear, are at times incomprehensible to us. Even when we think we Know!

  • unfortunately alot of ppl got into alot of debates and even the length of violence just to proof their way to the spirit is superior and right....so sad

  • U.N.I.T.Y. is going to Oklahoma this summer of 2007. Natives from all over the nation will be there. Come share your culture, and meet new peopel. Their will be dances and games. Their will also be educational workshops for college and health. Last year famous native actor Adam Beach came. Come see who will come this year. Visit unityinc. org for more information. Hope to see you there. I'm going:)

  • yes, European invasion destroyed much, however we still strive on and in us the spirit of our ancestors can have a voice. let us continue that legacy and revive our people.

  • I think it's cool that you did this for our people.

    It kicks ass great job

    live on my brothers

  • wonderful, very good. the pictures are amazing and, even though i don't like Perfect Circle all that much, the song goes well.

  • this reminds me of pocohontas.

  • Now I can imagine a world without time. Thank you!

  • i love your images...Native people to me were human extensions of Nature and all its beauty, power and majesty...which is what i feel we ALL are meant to embody...but no offense...that song to me just doesn't do the pictures justice ...'Will I Live Tomorrow?'or 'Little Wing' by Jimi Hendrix would be better than THAT tune...that's just my stupid opinion...Respect.

  • Why do people from other nation always have to spoil everything. I think it's a sickness. Excellent video. Thank you for sharing it. The native Americans Rock!

  • I have always fell this way. This is the way of humans who impose their ways .

  • thannks for sharing

  • mmmm... i love little native girls!

  • i do think ur forgetting it was a mixyure if people that contributed to the native americans downfall first the british gave indians clothes with smallpox on them/ the british settlers/americans drove them from their lands and the spanish started the war with the natives in the 1500's

  • That was a beautiful video! I love the Native American paintings.

  • thankyou for sharing your beautiful culture with us none-indians,bless you and may you walk always in peace and light.

  • I love Native American culture, I cry when I think about how the west was won. But It wasnt just the english who destroyed it. It was the greedy Americans too. When the english left, they called themselves american.

    xx KT, Northern Ireland xx

  • spiritually uplifting .thank you

  • From michigan, adn the Wyandot, i find this beuatifull. keep it up.

  • I agree with Thomas. It really doesn't show actual culture. Just modern pictures. And, I'm so sure A Perfect Circle's A Stranger was so perfect for a culture video because of the lyric, " I'm better off without you tearing my will down." From some points of view it sounds like a racial comment. But, that must be just me. My heritage isn't very often spoken of. It's mostly Cherokee this and that, which everyone seems to be nowadays ( igh).

  • dude she's saying it SYMBOLIZES her culture!

  • It is good yes but...I canìt agree that this shows anything at all about native american culture...it's modern pictures by people who did not know how it was. Put some real native american pics..not fake stuff like what people make now. Apaprt from that I like it...but it repeats a lot. I like native americans a lot so nothing contrary..and my name may seem english but it's not...I'm not english.

  • May the spirit of happiness embrace your soul

  • Wado, Thank you my young friend. We still suffer from the invasion and the rape of our culture. Again Wado Ignoli.

  • BEAUTIFUL IMAGES...the things we all have forgotten and are just now remembering...to share is to heal, there is alot of healing in these images...this art. And who makes that intoxicating music??GREAT THANX

  • That was very inspiring and what beautiful work. Makes one want to shrug off modern society and come one to one with earth mother, sky father and my own Maori culture. thankyou very much for sharing

  • This is wonderful..Thank You so much for sharing it..*Mizzy*

  • you're ancestors were great very very great

    love

    from europe italy

  • wow that was very good!!! i loved it!!im on a path of better understanding to my native culture...and a family member who has taught me so much has just passed sadly. he will be greatly missed, and i hope i still can go farther into my journey. Thanx for sharing. this helped remind me of some important memories!.i am truely greatfull.!!

    ~Alie~

  • You're quite welcome. I am pleased that I could help. My grandmother has taught me everything from Native reliegon to hunting traditions.
