@tribalstyle138 ....uh, she told us why, so we (the viewers) can see the process better. she normally would use brown beads as the model has brown hair
is this method uncomfortable to the head in anyway? i found having my extensions weaved in really uncomfortable, how long does this last and where can you get the beads from?
this technique seems kool as hell, are the beads comfortable to the clients? like when they sleep? i ask because you said they were pretty thick....also what kind of beads did you use and where did you get them. also have you tried this on other types of hair; such as african american? also lol it doesn't seem that sturdy..are the tracks really secure? sorry for so many questions am just really interested in this
Where did you buy your hair extensions? I want my hair stylist friend to do this for me at home, and I wondered if your wefts were cheaper where you got them....
hi! how do micro rings last in hair that is quite soft? My friend had individual ones done before with micro rings and they kept pulling out all the time? HELP! loL
@BlodwenFach This is how the lady who did my hair did it. My hair is very thin and it works very well. It should work just as well on soft hair. I paid $500 every time I had my hair done, then finally I started doing it myself.
hi nikki, just seeing and its sooo clever! well done! one quick question though.. how long will you say the weave will last with this technique? does it loosen faster? thanks!
hey, just thought I'd mention. When your clients have thinner hair the beads can actually damage the hair when they are clamped. This is a great alternative for caucasian clients with thicker hair but for thinner I would suggest doing twists to avoid damaging the hair.
I absolutely love this video. I am latina, and because my hair is thin and naturally "silky" its hard for braids to stay put in my head, this method works best for me. I absolutely LOVE IT! IT's a little tough doing it on yourself, but if you are careful to pin your hair up right, and keep your parts clean, its awesome. GREAT VIDEO!!!
@keelnan She used that color so that we could clearly see what she was doing. Usually, you would choose the same color as your hair to make it undetectable.
Love this method, such a great idea especially since cornrows don't work very well in caucasian hair (they feel too tight to start with and quickly get way too loose) Thanks for the demo!
Thank You for using white beads and sting. Unlike some people, who don't listen very well, I found it easier to focus on your style and technique. The contrast helped me 2 know exactly what you were doing even if you never spoke a word. Great job.

hello i just wanted to giv u some advice: next time try to use black beads instead of silver, also when you sew the extentions in, try using brown string(:
@funnygurrl123 hey funny girl u really are funyn beacuse she just explained in the video she was using whoitethread not STRING ND WHITE BEADS S THAT WE CAN SEEEEEEE WHAT SHE IS DOING!!!!!!!!!!! :)
I've been getting my hair like this for almost a year now and I love it. It is a really good method if you're trying to grow your hair back. I can wash my hair, comb my hair as usual, where it in a ponytail and where it in different styles. The thing i like about it is that I dont have to put any heat to my real hair and it is an easy way to let your perm grow out if you're trying to do so. All my friends have been asking me how to do it and I finally found a video on how to do it! I love it
my friend is doing this to my hair this weekend. i have SUPER thick hair i bout some hair that matches mine will it be okay? do you have any suggestions about the application since my hair is pretty thick? im just adding a little bit of length so they look natural.. please let me know asap. THANKYOUU :] && thankyou for posting this video! i cant wait to try this application on someone!
I have been using this technique from your video for the last year and it's AWESOME! This is the best video on sewn in weft extensions. Thank you so much for making this. It's unbelievable how expensive they can get to be done professionally (up to $1200!!!!). Thanks again. because of this video I have had awesome extensions for a year :))))
I really love your technique and would like to try but when I went to Sally's today to purchase the tools I noticed the beads you are using seem to be alot larger....can you please tell me what size they are and do you think I can purchase them online? Thanks!

I think this is cool I wish I knew how to do this before I learned how cornroll I only knew how to glue and braid (not cornroll at the time)...this technique is cool I have been wearing weaves for years and would totatly rock this idea : )
very nice im hispanic i have a lot of hair and i usually dont like this but this just left me speachless u have mad skills girl....... love ur work keep it up!
That is very neat. We call it micro beading i learn this about 10 years ago. The only place u could get the beads then were at His and Hers in California. So i just stop doing them. They may be easier to get now.
I had this done and I would not give the beaded extensions a good review. After about a month these would fall out, as well the hair extensions will continue to weather at the tip that goes between your hair and the bead, they have a wax tip to contain the hair. It would constantly fall out either cause of the beads or cause of the extension just falling apart.
This is the first time I have seen the use of beads to sew in extensions instead of braids, and i loveit!! take a lot less time looks like! where do u do these?
