LOL! I LOVE the pawstand, running and being "shot", and hopping on hind legs. I LOVE Border Collies! I'm training my Border Collie to "Bounce" (Like the one in the vid. He's already doing it on command!), "wipe your nose" (Oddly enough, also like the one in the vid), "play dead" (I wanna get as good as, you guessed it, the one in the vid!), Limp, Left and Right (He does this already. Took only a night and a morning. I say left/right and he lifts his left/right paw!

@ TeslaNick: It's harder to teach Jack Russels because of their energy, it leads to very short attention spans. Mine a spitfire.

@666Hansen: Yes, it does apply to all working dogs, but its been proven that Border Collies are the smartest breed of dog there is.

BC´s are the Ferraries among dogs. They are smart, fast and funny. But please dont get one, if you dont have the skills and the time for it. That will surely make both you and the dog unhappy. A lot of BC´s are put down because their owners dont know what i takes. Its a VERY intelligent and active dog, with a constant need of challenge for their brains and lots of exersice. Its also a robust working dog who needs firm but gentle leadership. If you master all that, you wont ever regret it.

That applies to all working dogs not just BC's, but I also agree that BC's are particularly smart and energetic, it's sometimes hard to keep up with them, they catch on so quick !

Jack Russels are very bright too and loads of energy... A big dog in a small package...
