  • Such a kick ass tune!

  • Hard to believe this was recorded in 1964, it is so amazingly progressive and forward thinking that it sounds like it could have been recorded today. Joe Henderson is one of the most underrated saxophonists in Jazz.

  • I can't get over it. No topping Inner Urge.

  • the late Joe Henderson , one of the Baddest, underrated tenor men of jazz. Great tune.

  • There was once a time when music was real.

  • @annefrankisaho It still is, just have to know where to look ;)

  • the last portion of the melody is genius

  • Greate!

  • This is amazing.

  • One the best jazz recording of modern jazz. Joe is my preferred tsax players.

  • henderson = artist

  • beautiful! first time to listen to Joe,wow he's great

  • This song's melody/form is meant to imply the duality of man's unfulfilled and fulfilled ambitions. Joe Henderson's choice of featuring the bassist before himself reveals this as well.

  • @FaaarLeft doubt it.

  • I first heard this jam when i was driving to work. i was so damn hooked i sat in the parking lot and listened to it....it was worth being late

  • this song is soooo cool

    Joe Henderson a genius !! =)

  • Without a doubt, one of my favorite all time Jazz performances. Terrific.
