As I imagined, the song sounds much better live than the studio version. There's more natural sound, feeling, and ambience here. I just wish I had the extra cash to see her live on August 23rd in Rosemont, IL. Even with the pneumonia, she sounded very good, but yeah, it's much easier to do a single song live than a 60-90 minute set to a paying audience.

I adore Stevie, but she did cancel her show in NYC just a few days before she did Ellen because she had pneumonia. Then a few days later she was not only on Ellen but Oprah and even DWTS! She probably hated to cancel her commitments. Stevie, your fans Love you, please take care of yourself. The new album is just terrific.

Hi Shanemiro!..I appreciate your comment..However,i have been seeing Stevie LIVE since `77,and Stevie NEVER had a problem doing other moves durring her shows in all the years of seeing her. Stevie has NEVER "stood there like a frightened child"!! I think its just become a Habit (the air guitar & hand story telling). Dont miknd it much,just not ALOT! :)

WOW! My girl Stevie is still sick and did this show,thats a Rock-N-Roll Chick!.Cds AWESOME!I have had the pleasure of seeing you Stevie "55" times LIVE! Yes,im serious!.Now,just some quick constructive about the the Air Guitar and the Martly Matlin sigh language describing each verse...STOP IT!..lol..More of the hands on the Mic and backing up and leaning low into the Mic..Just this FAN `s opinion.BUT,if you Air Guitared all the way through,id still come to the shows. @wyldhrtd1 I think her air guitar and hand expressions are charming... and one of my favorite parts of the show. She is just trying to be in the music and feel it. I don't think she just wants to stand there like a frightened child whispering into a microphone. Plus I think that Stevie is very expressive with her hands anyways... I know I am.
