@xiphia36 Yeah, the corvette driver rear ends him at the start of the clip so the porsche driver forces him into the wall as payback. Dont know whether he intended to off him or just slow him down though.

The Porsche driver knew that the corvette guy would get pissed off and try to push back against the porsche. And just as the corvette did, the porsche slammed on his brakes so he steered himself into the wall!

@marek0086 I don't think you understand. If you watch the Vette lights, you can see it went sideways way before the Porsche driver applied the brakes.

Watch it close, you can see the impact as the Porsche lurches to the right. The Vette goes sideways into a cloud of smoke and only then the Porsche brake lights come on.

Yes, the Vette driver bumped the Porsche under heavy braking, the Porsche could have lost it. But that was still a dirty squeeze.

The Porsche driver knew that he (vette driver) would 'snap' and push back against (steer into) the porsche (to get away from the wall). As the vette steers into the porsche out of anger. At that point the porsche slams on his brakes, and the vette steers himself across the track and into the wall.

He was on the slippery shoulder when he lost traction on his left, which twitched the rear end right. He countered to the right, the quarter hit the Porsche (you see the Porsche jerk) The Vette's rear end slides left, as the Porsche driver TAPS HIM BEYOND RECOVERY, THEN hits his brakes.

Porsche should have eased right after the Vette's front wheel passed his front bumper, but he didn't. Not against rules, but still dirty.

He smacked his right rear quarter into the front of the porsche.... and thats what really got him sideways.

@marek0086 Going sideways driving in a straight line is easier than you'd expect on a wet shoulder.

But it's a moot point though, clearly you think the Porsche did a great move and I think it was dirty. It would take too long to try to explain why, and you wouldn't accept it anyway. It's all about the timing.

The only thing that would make it less dirty was if the Vette was rubbing the Porsche bumper for the past 4 corners. (Which he may well have been, I didn't watch the whole race)

But out of context like this, it's an accidental bump under heavy braking, I touched on that bump already. I think if the Vette intended to take him out he'd have pulled right and gassed it to push the Porsche into a spin. But he barely tapped him hard enough to cause a wiggle.

If all the racers ran each other off the course for accidental taps, all races would be destruction derbies.
