I've seen quite a few videos of this guy performing while learning some arias, and I must say, I am not impressed. He is often inaccurate with his pitches and rhythms, and he pronunciation is pretty terrible, often skipping over words and screwing elision altogether. Which is sad, considering he is a native Italian speaker. to be honest, the dude is just lazy.

I wonder whether the set was a distraction for the performers. You can hear it creaking.  D'Arcangelo doesn't seem to be too bothered by it but a professional must put up with many things.
