  • Hi VanKrixsz101,

Thanks again for you interest in VFS's 3D Animation & Visual Effects program, please check your inbox as I've replied to your message with more information on the program.

    Cheers!

  • wow every single detail is nice !!! how much the the tuition fee for 3D & visual effects course?

  • hey nice work, was wondering you can give some feed back on my work.

    Search Blood metal saga

  • 3.07: That thing is so fucking beautiful; almost makes me wanna cry.

  • Very good however there is a big risk with doing character creation as you have to be the best to get a job in it. Much better to master the basics so that you can adapt

  • I wish Vancouver Film School wasnt in Vancouver... (Damn North Atlantic)

  • to bad im to young to go to vfs

  • May I ask where you got the music from? Very nice backing track. Would love to know the artist, album or anything to do with where I can get my hands on the track.

  • i`d love to study at VFS .....but that would mean to sell my apartment and still don`t have the necessary money.....

  • @danny3man You might find it helpful to speak to a VFS Admissions Advisor who can walk you through all the financial options available: vfs(dot)com/startnow.

  • Oi Does Vancouver Film School Has Any Sort Of Online Lessons Or Downloadable Vids?

Just Wondering Since I Live In Egypt ;P

  • @FrozenCore94 We don't offer online courses right now, but we do have students from all over the world joining us here at VFS. For more information, please visit our website at vfs(dot)com. Thanks!

  • @VancouverFilmSchool

Kay I Will Thanks For Replying =D

  • I would have jumped! If that 2nd model sprang to life.

Sung Jeong. I wonder if they have a site where I can complement him.

  • can you guys make tutorials that would be awesome

  • @DarknessStick Thanks for your suggestion. It's not something we are planning on doing currently, but if you would like to speak to an advisor to learn more about studying at VFS, fill in the form at vfs(dot)com/speaktoanadvisor

  • 2:00 it's ManBearPig! :D No, but this is a great reel. Awesome modeling, though creepy at times.

  • nice work

  • two words fucking amazing, as for the envoirment I could probably model that, its looks pretty low poly, the texturing makes up for that though great texturing

  • I wonder what programs do they use???....

  • If you check the credits at the end, there is a list of all software used. Thanks!

  • lol, thanks, i didnt chek the credits!!!!!

  • omfg wish i was that good

  • shit, there's actually good stuff coming out of this school.

  • WOOOOOO!!!! MAN BEAR PIG FTW

  • BEARMANPIG!! But honestly, nice polypainting. Reckon you used either Zbrush3 or mudbox2009 for this, with maya most likely.. or 3ds/XSI :) Love the stuff dude.

  • do you do video games

  • well this is a demo real man vancover film school is one of the best visual schools out there wanted to go but expensive. If your intreasted in video game making look up the programs maya 2009 and also zbrush if you want to make high poly models.

  • beautiful i cant belive how u guys do this simply amazing

  • whats the programm???

    please answer

  • tip: read description

  • One project, "The Summoning," was created in VFS 3D Animation & Visual Effects. This one may very well be 3DS Max, but more likely VFS 3D.

  • we aren't allowed to use 3ds max in school, only maya, softimage xsi and zbrush

  • this is work of ZBrush, most probably, it is beautiful 3d program.

  • But ZBrush isn't a 3D program! The whole program is a 2D Program...

  • i dont agree, since you can export your 2d zbrush files in to say a Max 3d file, and with it it can carry all the shaders and baked displasemet maps, so it is a 3d program that uses a 2d modeling style,

  • You contradict yourself... z-Brush uses 2D Files - Like U agreed! Which format you can import or export has nothing to do with it. Or would say that Maya is a 2D-Programm because you can make JPG-Files with it? ^^ LOL

  • is a 3d and 2d program , import and export .obj files

  • yes, correct what i was trying to say,i guess simple is better

  • zbrush is a 3d program have you used it?

  • it models in 3d, but when using the program ur actually looking at a 2d environment.

  • yeah that's true, but 3ds max can be the same way, I still think that makes it a 3d program.

  • the corpse was the best

  • Comment removed

  • Simply amazed your work on the human body is astonishing keep up the amazing work

  • It's ManBearPig! I'm super Serial!

  • win

  • he is real im telling you guys. so Serial.

  • I like the creature @ 1:52

    really nice movie

    Thanx

  • Ican't believe all the job that has to be done when making a model like this. Juyst amazing.

  • how can i get the voice

  • I envy you. How many weeks did you spend per model?

  • Very dark, but fantastic.

  • Phew, that Mechanic looked great!

  • sexy pig

  • YEAHHHHH... He is my teacher!!!! Fantastic guy

  • i wouldnt want to fight with that pigbeast there!!!!

  • i would hate to be the guy that textured that pig thing.

  • That kind of job is painfull. Believe me.

  • how do u make this ?

  • I would have liked to have seen the monks back side, or a close up of the marionette's face, but otherwise OUTSTANDING reel!!

Hope some day I can get this good with modeling :)

  • I would NOT want to run into that big werewolf thing.

  • impressive background sound

  • It looks like the temple is inspired by the Angkor Thom ruins in Cambodia. Good job.

  • 26 seconds into it and i was already impressed!

  • love the pigman model.. kick ass stuff

  • what's wrong with ass? Everyone loves ass.

  • It may have been in a compliment and all, but just becuase you have to be however old to have an account doesn't mean some kid isn't going to decide to read the commenys and learn a new word.

  • Oh, like his parents never said "ass".

That's impossible. Not even hardcore religious parents can raise kids without saying ass at least once.

  • sorry i didn't write this my bro did. my brother is emperor univerz

  • great work. 5 stars.

  • I wanna see this in action:D Great job!

  • i'm in games design, and this is just damn awsome.

  • are you stupid? theirs schools for that idiot.

  • when you stop it at 3:24 the robot looks like a head and it looks awesome.

  • The last one looked like a gun from Halo.

  • I adore the pig.

  • That robot with a heart is sick! big ups! What kind of software do you use?

  • I think Everyone uses Maya and sometimes also ZBrush for modeling, maya is also good for modeling and putting everything together(animation, rendering, lighting, it's the most powerful software for 3d at the time being. There are some other software too; Lightwave, 3dsMax, Mudbox(it's like ZBrush) etc. For texturing almost always photoshop, finalcut studio or after effects(more affordable) for cutting and editing.

  • i would say 3ds max with vray or something like that is very well for rendering. and for landscapes i would use vue 6

  • i like mental ray or render man. with maya

  • Wow... you're really skilled!

  • of course 5 star ;)The pig was the best :D

  • All of this would be perfect for an online game! AWSHOME JOB SUNG KEEP IT UP!! X3 5/5 stars! This is the best video i've seen sooo far. :)

  • my... god!.

  • wow the detail is amazing

  • the hanging dude looks creepy yet awesome nice sung keep it up

  • good jop..süper..

  • amazing !! i especially loved the HANDS from the first one .
