  • como te haria cagar pa dentro :P

  • "youre gonna have to go to a real teacher for that, im sorry" haha XD

  • Great effort to explain for those who know nuts about notes =P Just a question, how does the instrument stay stable with four fingers on the keys? Is there a thumb strap or something?

  • @visqueraient nope! just gotta balance it out with your fingers. It's quite easy

  • ooohh so much bracelets haha

  • hazlo en español!

  • I just found a melodica and have had a great time playing it =), but mine drips out spit and its really gross, any suggestions please help me

  • @coldfirevideo Naturally, spit will accumulate in the instrument. On the back of the melodica, there is what looks like a rubber piece covering a hole. if you remove it, [don't worry if it breaks, it snaps back on] you can drain the saliva out

  • @TeenageDeathGirl337 Thank you =)

  • Very cool Vid, nice work.

  • Ahora en español , que si entendi pero quiero despejar mis dudas.

  • @malarnesto

    que preguntas

  • Nice video! :D A while ago I remembered that my grandma had a melodica somewhere, so I dug it up today and I've been messing around with it.

Mine is the same as yours. (But somewhat older, I expect. For some reason it has a black mouthpiece and the keys are a bit warped.)

I basically knew all that stuff, but you still had a good video. :D

  • You don't know how to explain

  • I just got the same melodica you have there. It's pretty rad. But I have no idea how to play it, Ive never played piano or anything like it. Im all strings (guitar and uke). Hah. But this was super helpful. Thanks a lot. :)

  • @o0TheNameless0o no prob :)

  • can you try to find out the tabs for the song la cosita tropical by esteman you can look for it in youtube

  • @dragonpaez13 i'll try!

  • You would say Eb(flat) and Db if you were in the bass clef, because I also play the trombone which is in the bass clef. But it's different in the treble clef and I'm beginning to learn that clef because I'm so used to the bass clef and stuff. Great video by the way, I gave it a thumbs up :)

  • what, you don't know how to plug piano in? lol! smooth video, oh my god warden is coming, hide the camera bghhghjdfyghfh!

  • cual de la melodicas ( soprano o tenor ) se acerca mas al sonidode un acordeon?

  • they sound the same, just the tenor is deeper.

  • Are the notes the same for the alto melodica? the red one? I don't know what the black keys are;(

  • yep, notes are all the same!

The black keys are notes that are a half step higher/lower than the white keys.

For example, G is a white key. The black key directly to the right of it is G sharp, and the black key directly to the left is G flat or F sharp, since F is the note next to G on the left.

  • Wow thanks a lot! Hope to see more vids from you!

  • No problem :) thank you!

  • same exact keyboard as me :P

    5/5,great vid!

  • thanks, bud

  • do you know if they make the long tube mouth piece for the soprano ones?

  • Nope, I'm pretty sure it's only for the tenor melodica. If I'm wrong then sorry!

  • so do i breathe while playing this thing? or do i just....die? :]

  • nah you dont breathe =]

  • AHHH!! it paused right at 0:22 to buffer and i though it was hillarious! nice job!!

  • thanks! i now know the notes on my melodicaaa xD

  • haha no problem =]
