@smithjacusmc True but at least one man in that video possess the power and stupidity to potentially harm themselves or maybe punch a .22 caliber hole in their drywall.
@SumthnfancyProject perhaps you might have an argument if you would state what you mean rather than running off at the mouth with smart remarks. there is no action in this video that warrants your criticism.
@smithjacusmc *Technically running off at the fingertips. If I ran off at the mouth in front of my laptop my coworkers would look at me funny* So if you can not understand the smart remarks I will dumb it down for you: Mistakes can kill people. Natural selection. This is America, if you wanna be a dumbass with a loaded firearm feel free to! Just move to Wyoming! Might as well keep the weapon chambered with the safety off too and your finger on the trigger. Might need to go out and survive! ^_^
@SumthnfancyProject they may look at you funny anyway; so you're referring to keeping a filled mag inserted in my rifle, hmm run into your type all the time, so you are saying you lack the discipline required to have a weapon loaded a ready to operate when needed, perhaps I should unload my carry weapon until I get mugged also, would hate for that round in the chamber to go off on it's own. perhaps you think my rifle will chamber itself. go back to worshiping Nutnfancy and get off my island.
@smithjacusmc My type as in "Safety Nazis"? lmao I'm just giving you crap man! In all seriousness I personally keep a loaded (Not chambered) Saiga-12 next to my bed (I live in a very low-income area) You do talk a very fine argument I must say sir.
@SumthnfancyProject I love a good argument, so I will fall into that one easily.lol I only chamber if it is a ,on my person, carry weapon. I have a mossberg 590a1 with a full tube next to the bed also. believe me safety is everything, guns are not a casual affair, I tell new gun owners/carriers that they can't rely on locks and safety levers, you have to be aware and conscious of your weapons handling. thanks for the argument, later,
i hade 3 of these hade key word the camo the black an a silver 1 all bought at the same time all new cleaned then b4 i shot the bbl on all them cracked at 50 rds shot with in 20 min an the nut on the bbl didnt come back off what junk
you just put a loaded mag into a cocked gun, i know that you put the mag into the gun after it was cocked, but still, i have seen many people make mistakes with that kind of thing.
I'm not sure what you are trying to say. If safety is your concern, remember the 4firearm safety rules. 1 treat every weapon as if it where loaded. 2 never point your weapon at anything you do not intend to shoot. 3 keep your finger off the trigger until you are ready to fire. 4 keep the weapon on safe until you intend to fire. Also the intent of the rifle is to be ready to operate upon assembly, as a survival rifle it needs to have it's ammo contained in the stock. safety is paramount. thnx
this is about causing unnecessary safety concern, you didn't NEED to show us you loading a full mag, I think we all know it will fit. when you put your mistakes out there, prepare to be criticized.
what mistake? apparently you are mistaken. And you and the previous post'r lack the safety conscious mind to handle a condition 3 weapon safely, and therefore should refrain from handling firearms. do you carry a gun, is it loaded, is there a round in the chamber? the method demonstrated is the optimum carry method for this rifle, assembled or dis-assembled, it is, in fact a survival rifle, self contained, and therefore the ammo is carried in mags in their respective locations.
it's caliber is 22lr stopping power is limited, and very dependent on range and ammo type. higher velocity HP is desired. this gun is very accurate. 8 shot mag.
the original was used in "nam" as part of a survival kit for pilots, not really intended for defence, as it originally had issues. semper fi is short for semper fidelis which means "always faithful" this is the motto of the US Marines, which I am. it is used as a greeting between marines or as a statement of loyalty or motivation by a marine to others.
that's a good price and a nice friend who sold it to you but then thing is that he's crazy for saling it to you because it's one nice ass rifle is it a .22 cal or a .22lr?
22lr, you may know this, but .22 cal is the diameter of the bullet; short , long, long, and long rifle indicates the length of the casing and bullet combined, LR being the most common one used these days. 22magnum has a standard 22cal bullet that is longer and heavier, and the casing is made larger with a tapper to it to allow for a larger charge of powder to propel the bullet. semper fi
no thanks, I am actually selling my rifle to a friend of mine in the army nat'n guard, for his pack. thanks though, there may be others on here looking for those who will reply.
Hey hows it going .i have a stupid question for you. Im sort of new to firearms and ive picked up this rifle.i know your probly sick of talking about this one by now but you be the guy to know the answer to this.i seen a ram -line 25 round clip for the armalite version of this gun for sale for $50. id figure it would be compatable with the henry but no one seems to know for sure.i just wanted to find out for sure before I payed out for it. thanks and keep up the good work !
one of the things that is supposed to be fully compatible with all manufacturers is the magazines, and if you found a high cap for the ar7 I would buy it, that price is about average for the 15rnd'er(if you can find it). all the 7rnd mags work together. so I hope that answers your question
well so far in this rifle I have only shot sniper subsonic(SSS aquilla) and cci CB's, the cb's do not cycle at all, but I would think either remington or CCI subsonics should cycle easier than the SSS in my other vid.
Hi Smith. I forgot - did you say you purchased this new or used. If new did you have to go thru any breaking in precedures? If so, could you comment on them. I have heard of these procedures on other .22 rifles and just wonder what your philosophy is on them if any. Thank You. Sincerely, JAMES.
used off a friend. he did not fire it much, why he sold it...I did put, I guess about 100 rounds through it last time I shot. I usualy will follow manufacture recomendations from the manual. which is true, not a scape goat disclamer, I bought a S&W once that needed to be disasembled and lubed first, then have so many rounds through it to "break in". most gunners say about 150rnd to work out any glitches. I say pay close attention to your 1st shoot w/ any gun and make notes to yourself.
I'm not sure what sub sonic that you are using, but I would heed any warnings on the box. The sniper subsonic i have says its for bolt action rifle use, I have tried it in a couple of different semi autos(taking note of the dead pop of a bullet lodge, have had none) I actually have found this brand to be very powerful, due I believe to the fact that it is pushing a 60grain bullet. by standers have noted they seem to be louder than "normal". I have a demo vid planned soon.

well I don't know what to tell ya except don't shoot yours out of a rifle, honestly we must have different subsonic, same brand, different bullet and load. I always look for those warnings, the box definately specifies bolt action rifle use as it's intended purpose. I have used it in pistol and rifle semi auto. I'll have to research this for clarification, thanks bro.
Proof Marines are stupid. I do believe that weapon is Amber, Guy.

My .22 subsonic ammo warns, not to be fired in any long rifle platform, may become lodged in the barrel. For pistol use only.
