Suggestion lads: set your shooting and speed strengthen up to 6 for each and then just skip most of the season (as in don't play the training matches) or maybe play a few. this is because your player will be shite and the season rather unenjoyable. So skip for a while, get your player better and then start playing midway through the second season.

i love this mode. i started in the intra-squad trainin game and set up a few goals, got moved to a team within 3 games and bench with 2 more. within another 2 games i got given 30mins a match if we were winning. im with man city and i havent scored one goal yet. set up alot, but goals arent everything on this apparantly. it measures ground covered, dribble distance etc. its really good!! i hate the way pro evo have wierd start lineups. vassell plays instead of Jo an i cant change it in legend.

Become a legend ends when you retire, you have to play atleast 10 seasons before you can retire (when you turn 27), but you can propably play 20 atleast 20 seasons if you want to.

Do you edit your stats by yourself in the beginning(depending on the possision you play) or stats are given you at the start of your career and then you have to growth them, like master league and you cant edit them. plz answer....

ur stats change depending on the position u pick to play in i think, however the person u get to start with is pretty piss poor. u then get to choose which stats improve fastest (kicking, dribbling, balance, power, speed and stamina) to make urself better. u start off as 17 and u probably wont be any where near world class til mid 20's or so, uv just gotta do wot u can

you dont choose your stats but when you gain exp. points you can use them to improve parts of your game, i think the stats might naturaly take place on how you play cus on mine i ran around chasing the ball and dribbled with it and i was high in those areas

This is a world class game. PES 2009 has fantastic developed "become an legend" mode - it's more better invented than FIFA mode. I am playing currently first season (17 years old I am in game lol) at Premier League with Teeside (Middlesbrough). I am enjoying playing this surely, PES 2009 made the history already. PES 2009 rules, FIFA sucks and FIFA will suck surely, because EA made this garbage. Konami is great company, they rule, PES 2009 forever in my heart! And last versions too (PES6, PES5)
