I could see his blue eyes from 30 ft away. Needless to say time definitely stopped.

Such a beautiful scene, and it *IS* true. This is what happened the night i met my wife for the first time.
She walked into a restaurant that i was eating at, and i swear time froze exactly like that.
Of course, i was nowhere near as poetic as Edward Bloom in the moment. I remember thinking "Wow. She's cute." :P
