  • I'm 16, I'm not really into all this classic stuff. My mom dragged me to the Broadway production and I LOVED it! When Frankie sang "Can't Take My Eyes Off of You" (The first song) the audience just went crazy. At the end of the song he had a standing ovation for the longest time, it was amazing!

  • John Lloyd Young is part Italian, like all the original Four Seasons guys. :) Well maybe they're all full-blooded, but still. LOL

  • mmm he's so sexy at the beginning...

  • a woman went to see the jersey boys she said she didnt like the curse words in it a british musical about the record producer joe meek had an actor portraying the drummer clem cattini he went to see himself with his daughter he said he never swore like that

  • You're just too good to be true....I will forever think of Heath Ledger when I hear this song thanks to Ten Things I Hate About You. ;)

  • You can get the audio-mp3 of this vid at fromvideotomp3 doht cohm.

  • Baby, I think I would drop dead if I saw this show! lol! I must see it though!

  • I don't care what anyone says, John Lloyd Young was, and will always be the best Frankie Valli

  • I. Love. Jersey Boys.

  • This original cast especially, JLY, Christian Hoff, J.Robert Spencer,Daniel Reichard are the reason that this show became one of the greatest musicals ever. Also don't forget Michael Longoria,(Joey) Peter Gregus(Bob Crewe) and Mark Lotito (Gyp), No One has done it better than these guys. FANTASTIC !!!

  • **AWSOME**

  • All of the Jersey Boys are AMAZING!!!!

  • Having grown up to The 4 Seasons, this is final justification & reward for one of our truly great vocal groups--ever. I know--I was there from the start. Wolfsky9, 64 y/o

  • BEST MUSICAL EVER!!!!

  • The London cast is the best in the world! Ryan Malloy sounds the most like Frankie Valli aswell and he's English which is weird :P all casts are great, but none of them compare to the West End Cast x

  • @DanCrespin316 i agree! i love the west end cast :) i saw ryan malloy at west end live and thought he was amazing, but when i actually saw the musical, scott was on as frankie and he was incredible!

  • @Sam4G0d Well my freind, return and see Ryan Molloy! He is just incredible! I never saw this one being from the UK, of course I hear the vocals on the OS but to me Ryan Molloys the man! I just wish they'd release a West End version of it! Sometimes it'd be nice to hear Broadway vocals on some original West End shows, just to compare and also, they'd make a shit load more money surely? In the mean time, Youtube does it!

  • i saw the play in nyc

  • the chicago cast of jersey boys was the best outta any of the groups tht sang, they were better then broadway in newyork, thts why they went to the tony awards

  • @DrPhilwithhairKIMMY . . .Because they're different people. . .and some people are better. . . .

Like I said, they're good, but the Vegas cast was better.

Nathan Lane is a Broadway staple. And yes, he (kind of) hits the notes he's given. But he's not a strong singer. His vibrato alone is enough to show a lack of diaphragm support.

Simply being cast on Broadway doesn't make you the best. David Hasselhoff was on Broadway in Jekyll & Hyde. Enough said.

  • I saw these guys live, the same actors and whatnot. Amazing!

  • The Toronto cast was more like the real Four Seasons and a lot more like Frankie by far... James Madden was far more like the real thing... check it out online...

  • @ROXYLUCY I saw the Toronto version not too long ago, and even with the alternate Frankie, it was amazing.

  • @blackstockj oh completely agreed.

  • I have always loved the orignal Jersey Boys that are performing in this clip. The others are still great, but these ones are the reason I turned to the musical.

  • new york show was amazing. going to see again in october

  • I thought I will hate it but it was so good and incredible

  • What are all the names of the songs sung here? Because I don't have the money for the full album but I do have enigh for these songs.

  • @35Cory85 the first one is "Can't Take My Eyes Off of You" and the second is "Who Loves You"

  • What's the name of these songs!!!! Because I don't have enough for the full album but I want the songs he sings here.

  • I just saw this play tonight in nyc! it was AMAZING! I loved it so much. Except the guy who played Frankie Valli now is WAY better and sounds more like the real one then this guy.

  • These are the poor mans Jersey boys!

It's all about the Jersey Boys London performance not just a one man weirdo that this video shows!

  • great cast! seen vids of a few of them. This one and London are my favorites so far

  • ahh that makes more sense

  • John Lloyd Young's mom was my high school substitute teacher. She always had Jersey Boys EVERYTHING! Watches, T-shirts, Pens, etc. it was nuts! She was so proud! Our drama club went to NYC every year, and he gave us a tour before we watched his show =)

  • Thats interestinggg because his mother died when he was 2

  • maybe it was his stepmom...?

  • @RandomPersonman yes, stepmother

  • John Lloyd Young gave you a tour? Wow! Jealous!

  • going to see Jersey Boys june 6th on Broadway can't wait

  • seen it in London last week .And if its half as good as west end show .your gonna half a great time

  • yeah it's a 21at birthday from my parents my mom wants to see it and it's the only musical that i'm interest in that's not based on a movie

  • Saw the show twice in Cleveland and it was so awesome! Would see it again and again!

  • I need to see Jersey Boys!! :D

Anyone else think the first guy singing looks a little like Steve Carrell? lol

  • aha when i first put it on was like i dont remember the weirdo from 40 yr old virgin in it lol so yeh i thought so 2 xx

  • Yes!!!

  • @BetterThenGrapefruit from the far shot, yes he does

  • @BetterThenGrapefruit I thought it was steve carrell when I clicked the thing!

  • @BetterThenGrapefruit That is exactly what I thought!

  • I've Always Loved Frankie Valli & The Four Seasons, But For Some Reason I Thought The Show Would Be Quite Lack-Luster, But Now It's MY FAVOURITE MUSICAL EVER! :)

  • Saw this in Vegas...great!!

  • How many tony awards did they win in 2006 ?

  • four......best musical, best actor (JLY), best featured actor (Christian Hoff) and best lighting =)

  • They won 4/8 nominations:

-Best actor in a musical, John Lloyd Young

-Best featured actor in a musical, Christian Hoff

-Best Lighting Design in a musical

    -Best musical

The show also won a Grammy for best show album.

  • they go a be here in chicago soon

  • does anyone know where i can find his tony acceptance speech

  • On his blog or the Jersey Boys website

  • woah, I haven't seen the show, that was amazing.....

  • if i had a million dollars, i'd pay the original cast and band to put on one more show in any broadway theatre for me and my friends

  • THIS cast is absolutely the best that's ever performed it. John Lloyd Young can't be touched.

  • There is no one better than John Lloyd Young. It is an amazing show.

  • was there LAST night Aug 28th. AMAZING show....don't miss it in Vegas

  • I saw it this week in Boston, absolutely Amazing show! I smiled for 3hrs straight!

  • i saw this show 3 days in vegas at the palazzo. the 9:30 show. the guy who played frankie valli was incredible. He hit every note perfectly and can go even higher than frankie could. Ive known thier songs before i saw the show but now im just hooked on all of their music and get the songs out of my head.

  • i saw Jersey Boys in Vegas! When the four guys hIt that last note of "Who Loves You" it brought me right to my feet!

    AMAZING SHOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I cant take my eyes off of you

  • Thank you! :D

  • I hate to sound like a complete moron (especially when I like broadway musicals) but does anybody know the name of the first song? I really should check all the comments but theres are a lot!

  • My new favorite Broadway musical :) I saw it in Boston with the national tour alternate Graham Fenton as Frankie, and he was fantastic :)

  • "This Guy?" LOL

  • He is the best of all the jersey boys out there! I saw the jersey boys in Boston, they can't come close to johnny.....

  • I saw them in Boston =D Amazing

  • terrific stuff - went to see the show in London last month - going to NY in November - hoping it will be on Broadway !!

  • Amazing

  • i loved jersey boys.

    it was incredible.

  • BULL SHIT!! THIS IS GREAT!!!!!!!!

  • Wow. Your loss. It was one of the best musicals I have ever seen. Who cares if its not a carbon copy of the real four seasons. The show was incredible, and to davey, based on the videos of London's cast that I have seen, I personally like this Frankie better...

  • I completely agree. Jersey Boys is definitely one of the best musicals I've ever seen, and I've seen a lot. I've seen both the London and New York cast, and thought the London cast is good, the New York cast is by far the best!

  • sounds better

  • I love the "Ah-Ahh"s at the end of the Jersey Boys version of Who Loves You! The original recording sounds so empty when it just faces out, now that I've gotten used to this version.

  • wow the nearest any will get to the original four seasons a fantastic tribute WOW WOW WOW

  • I saw the Jersey boys in Chicago and its by far the best one out of all the states!

  • I liked it in Chicago too! The Frankie was so good at portraying all the ages!

  • First of all no one will ever compare to John Lloyd Young and second I listened to this Ryan Molloy and he was terrible. No british person should ever have the right to play a Jersey Boy. JLY forever!

  • Ryan Molloy is amazing at singing as Frankie Valli!!!!

  • wtf an error has occured wtf help me T~T

  • This is honestly one of my favorite shows and it sux so much I can't DO it cause I don't look like any of the Four Seasons haha.

  • JLY is so amazingly talented!

  • J.Rob=<3

  • hell yeah

  • Jeez he looks like Steve Carrell

  • he does look like steve carell!

  • They are my all time favorite! I love Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons and they did this really good!

  • Wow... the guy playing Frankie Valli (whose name escapes me) looks dead-up like Steve Carrell.

  • i know its quite cool:D

  • john lloyd young..and yeah i know! (:

  • 3:59 to the end.....ohmygod!!!! i die and go to heaven everytime!!! i swear i could just listen to those eleven seconds on repeat forever

  • after scimming through the script at borders, and listening to some tracks, and watching this clip, i bet that this would make a great bio-pic film by Martin Scorcesse.

  • Im going to see this may 31 in atlanta john young is quite a talent

  • I'm going tomorrow night - on Broadway!!!!

  • i just saw jersey boys last week and i absolutely loved it!

  • i just saw that exactly one week ago

one of the best shows ive ever seen!

  • Ahhh it just looks/sounds so cool!

I just feel stupid because he looks like Steve Carell on youtube...

  • i actually got to see this on Broadway in NY, and it was one of the greatest experiences, it really was amazing, u cant describe how awesome it was

  • who sings the last song an wats the name i can find ?

  • "Who Loves You"

  • I saw this in Pittsburg it was the best show i ever seen !!!!!!1

  • What is the name of this song?

  • which one the firts one?

Can't Take My Eyes off of You and the last one Who Loves You

  • In the show, when they played black n white video footage of Frankie Valli and the actors performed along with it on stage, was it actual footage from the 50's/60's or was it just recreated to look like that?

  • it was actual

  • i actually got confirmation it was the cast performing live.

  • ya that sucks because it was so amazing... hopfully it comes again!

  • I met bob gaudio!!!!he went to my school and it was a small group that i was in to talk to him and it was up close and i shook his hand.

  • John Llyod Young, Christian Hoff, J. Robert Spencer, and Daniel Reichard are AMAZING!!!!!:)

  • jersy boys rule

  • if i'm not mistaken, that was the last chord in wicked too

  • I think you're right. Another amazing show

  • I prefer the London version, much closer to Valli

  • The London version isn't at all closer to Frankie Valli and the 4 Seasons. John Lloyd Young is amazing and the other 3 are also.

  • My mom works with the sister of daniel reichard.(everyone is connected with everyone, aren't they?)and i'm getting a personal autograph. i love him. and john lloyd young=love, too.

  • lucky i wanted to go see that so bad but by the time we looked into it it was sold out

  • WOW

  • these guys are amazing.... but i think i prefer the London West End cast but thats just my opinion. Btw i don't live in london i live in wales

  • if the royal variety performance is anything to go by, i definitely prefer the OBC.

  • OMFG THE LAST CHORDS

  • That last chord is sweeeeet

  • SUPERB SHOW!!!!

  • this show was sick. midway through the first act they start singing and dont stop til the cast goes home for the night.

  • See this show if it's in your area. The touring cast is SUPERB. Just saw the second-to-last-show in Denver. It was utterly wonderful.

  • I saw them in Pittsburgh last night and absolutely agree that the touring cast is excellent.

  • I saw them the last day in denver. best show ive ever seen.

  • Believe me, I thought the same thing. Then I saw it. This show has gangsters, broads, booze, and plenty of f-bombs. Yes it's a musical, but not a gayyyyyyyyy one.

  • To me its amazing, suprisingly to my male italian friends, they see the four seasons as a bunch of fruits. I'm left confused.

  • Hey, I'm an Italian male who loves musicals, digs the Four Seasons, is straight but not even close to homophobic...even started out as a theatre major! There's a few of us cooler ones out there, eh? lol

  • Actually, I find that very few musicals are "gay" if you really listen.

  • This group, John Lloyd Young, Christian Hoff, Daniel Reichard and J. Robert Spencer are the best Jersey Boys. Amazing

  • this is such an amazing show, definitly one of the best stories ever told on broadway music history wise. The guy who plays franki valli who i cannot remember at this time is absolutely amazing and could not have pulled the part off any better, great job!!

  • Jeff Madden was incredible as Frankie Valli in Toronto!!! loved the show I hope they come out with a DVD of some sort! or just lower the ticket prices lol well worth it though
