peach has really high priority for her attacks. some moves reach really far and are fairly powerful. Her short ranged moves are ultra fast and can combo. I don't see why she's so overlooked as a good character.
its because there are a ton of characters that have a higher priority then her! Plus, she has no spike and few really hard hitting smashes and MUST rely on combos to get damage up high enough to hopefully get the one smash hit. You cannot spam her --> A like some characters (falco, kirby) as its luck based, you could be in range for the golf club but end up with the frying pan making you get hit! So, yes she has her upsides and downsides, but yea she really is over looked! :(
@priestess2234 She had a Spike with D-Tilt on the edge. And we don't care of smash, just when you can. You want to kill with peach, Bair and Fair. Peach is the jack of all trade, if used correctly.
@cloudofkey you replied to a 2 year comment... regardless of that.. I'm well informed of brawl now. Peach has her dtilt 'spike' except the chance of getting its hitbox is close to 0 when you want it. She has arguably the lowest KO power in the game when fair and bair are Di'ed correctly. Making her unable to ko at an early %. In offline matches GL to see Peach ever ko before 150. She has tools yes.. but she also suffers greatly from no power.

@cloudofkey placing does not effect Peachs fair/bair, it's not like Marths who has a tipper variant. If the player has good DI all of Peachs air moves can be easily Di'ed up and to the corner reducing their power. If they get sent horizontally bad DI from the opponent. Usmash is hardly viable unless you set it up as the sweet spot will almost never hit outside fatties and yoshi/luigi nose. Fsmash has sweet spot tennis racket/club... pan wont ko till 150+ even when sweet spot.

I don't really use the veggies much but I do a lot of parallel floats then aerial attack close to the ground. Do you play online?

I can't decide if that was really good or really bad. But, it's too easy to be an internet critic...so, fair play.
I play peach as a main and personally make much heavier use of float and turnips. But whatever floats your boat.
