I hate the bands with all "creative" intruments it's obnoxious and bands of all girls because it's so much harder to find a band with girls then guys it's just annoying when people try that hard to be cool
I see all these creepy balding heads, and it makes me think "They're not here to appreciate the music, they're just here to see a pretty woman perform".
exactly! this version is successful in a way that the emotional delivery is exactly where it should be.however, when chromatics sing it, its just so so much more powerful.
absolutely beautiful and haunting, with a very sinister undertone. Sign of a great artist is to take a well known song and make it their own, which she has done in the most perfect way! I do also love Tori Amos' version of this song, both different in many ways
her heterosexualizing the lyrics is cute. if she hadn't changed them, we might have thought she was gay! they say every woman is a witch, and every witch is wise. nice to see exceptions. wonder what her day job is.

There is an adage "sometimes less is more". This overought version of a simple, haunting song is a prime example of cringe worthy melodrama. I tire of the modern tendency to pile on the sap, ala James Blunt "You're Beautiful".
Say what you like, it does not change the truth. Bruce's version is a classic hit, loved my millions. This version will be forgotten in 15 minutes because it piles on too much 'feeling'.
all subjective. For me this verion is much better than the original. I think the Bruce version sounds dated, and while this one will never receive the widespread popularity i think it will date much better
Well, I have to admit I like this much more than the original piece...
