The point about something being predestined is that it's not up to me. If god planned everything that I was going to do from before I was born, and god's plan is definite, how could I possibly not do what god had already planned for me to do i.e. not believe in him and consequently perish in hell? I can't possibly not not believe in him, because that would go against his plan, so I don't really have any choice at all.

i literarlly started crying when i watched this video. isn't it funny how a thirteen-year-old boy is smarter than most adults who call themselves christians? as a former atheist I can say it was my intellectual pride that got in the way, I was listening to my ego making fun of those who listened to God.

My mistake was thinking that my ego is me.

My ego hates God because my ego thinks it is God.

I was insane. God restored me to sanity and thats how I know God is real, part and parcel of our makeup. Ain't life great !
