That hack is called XYZ. It allows you to move up and down on a vertical and horizontal measure. If you were to try and actually move, you would crash. You have to jump after you move up / down. You can also go through geometry doing this. I know about this hack because I tested it in my own defense for Blizzard for being accused of hacking when I didn't; I won that arguement. =)
