After listening to that idle again, are you suuurrreee you aren't running a stealth little baby cam in that thing? From 0:07 to about 0:12 I'd swear there's a bit of a lope.. unless it's just mic distortion from the camera not digging the exhaust pulses.
Hmmmmmmm........ I tried to hide mine with the stock cans for awhile, but with long tubes, no cats, and a 3" x, a 240/.608 cam is tough to mask. :)
Haha....I'm positive! It was a cold start which may have had something to do with it and also the LS3's seem to have a roughness to the idle from the factory. I'm seriously kicking around a cam swap though so watch for a new video with a cam in the next month or so.
I am thinking of getting the bassani exhaust for my z06 and was just wondering how loud it is in the car. Does it drone badly at highway speeds? Did you do a before and after dyno? Or can you feel a power difference?
There is some drone there but it's definately bearable. My wife hasn't complained yet. I gained 20hp/15tq with LS7 exhuast manifolds/cats, Bassani and a Vararam (not worth much on dyno) without a tune. I didn't dyno with the catback only.
