  • Normally I know stuff about tanks, but is the elephant a later version of the Ferdinand?

  • @HarvHR the elephant was just another name for the ferdinand tank or so i thought.

  • @HarvHR Same Tank

  • @HarvHR Yes Ferdinand after some modifications (added machinegun and turret hatch) was renamed to Elephant.

  • I know its not considered a Tank Destroyer but still its in the Medium Tank tech tree the M3 Lee ( I Personally Hate It ) but you didnt mentioned it in your guide, its similar to a Tank Destroyer.

  • brilliant guide! TDs are my fav. the german and US tanks i use:P lol i love having my hezter or stug in a bush hidden:P hell one time i saw a light tank that ran away from a fight and i was going to shot it but got distracted. when i looked again it was heading right into the bush i was hiding in. it ramed right innto me and destroyed itself lol (1% hp). lol it was funny when the guy accused me of hacking cos he didn't see me:P

  • @outlaw0987654321 Haha, that would've been funny to see.

  • what's better for td he or ap??

  • I got my T28 Tier 8 american TD just before few minutes... Like it :-)

  • @JohnyDohnal It's a great TD.

  • How can i paint my tank, or it is possible to be painted in online game?

  • @fergoka Hello, Sorry for the late reply.

The tanks are that colour because i downloaded skins for them.

  • thank you for posting this vid man, ive always had a lot of trouble with playing a td prperly simply because im so used to being in light and medium tanks

  • @sanchman3 No worries mate.

  • Any tips on getting better accuracy out of your TD's? I'm using a T-82 on my way to a T-40, and so far, my best bet for "sniping" isn't really being a sniper and using range to my advantage, it's hoping that nobody bothers shooting me over any of my teammates.

Also, any tips on getting damage as a T-82? I seem to run into the occassional medium/heavy that my rounds continuously ricochet off of. Do I need to just get better weaponry, or are there specific shot placements to go for? Thanks!

  • @2010Ezekiel

    Hello,

To answer your question on accuracy, stay still for 4 seconds and when you're aiming you'll notice the ciricle getting smaller and it will stop. That's the best time to fire. The light american tds can be inaccurate from time to time. For your T-82, if you bounce all the time, use HE in stead of AP. And most "sweet spots" on tanks is the side or rear. So a good way to get some kills is stay hidden and wait for them to expose their side or rear. Then shoot.

    Good luck.

  • @wot20111 Alright. I've moved up to the T40 and am using the 105 (find that gets me kills more often than the 75 or anything else for that matter) I'll keep working on it though. I know about zeroing, just never seem to hit my target regardless :S

Thanks for the tip on HE though! Helped a lot.

  • @2010Ezekiel are u tired of bounce of rounds? do u like a big-ass gun on a fast tank? Then the 105mm howitcer is the thing for u! its wery accurate (unless u sux) and can seriusly damage (if not kill) Pz.Kpf. III/IV! BUY YOURS TODAY!!!!! ONLY 3000 AND SOMETHING XP (only neerds count corectly)!!!!!

  • very nice vidio and congrats for the winning price at wot :D

  • @tukuarg

    Thanks mate.

  • A few points on hull tilting that you don't really go over. First, tanks with faceted armor like the Object 704 and the IS-3 actually have their armor worsened by hull tilting. They are designed to be shot at from straight on, and tilting the hull will turn your thinner, extremely angled armor into nice easy to penetrate flat targets. Secondly, by tilting in a TD you are increasing your opportunity to get tracked. Tracked + at the end of your gun traverse can be pretty sub-optimal.

  • @tacticalspoon

Alot of my tips are on german tanks. But thanks for notifying everyone about those russian vehicals. I didn't really think about that. With the TDs i usually have a repair kit just in case. It works for me :)

  • haha I could barely understand you x)

    but I like it :)
