The game may be canceled, and Intel may own the rights to the material... But there is no way they can control the knowledge. Someone will put all this hard work to use somehow, with or without the help of a bigwig like Intel

It's a shame, everyone always talks about the graphics. Everyone also improves the graphics. Nothing else matters. What about an AI that is challenging, an attack system that isn't so clunky and repetitive. How about a more dynamic atmosphere than shading and bloom. Zelda:OoT in my mind beats every new game out there in immersion. And how about a health system besides "hit enemy until HP reach 0". Really, graphics have gotten to a point where we won't need to upgrade them for a hundred years.

@TheZackarios Intel stopped it, not the developers. They created Fractiv company and there it might be produced, the epic game of high proportions.

bad new everybody the development team behind this game has been shut down but a new company named red V that was created by world of warcraft employes is using the engine for there mmo that is in development so fingers crossed but itll be awhile : /

@sgcandrewkard oh u know i am. im a big fan of oblivion. i never played the other 3 but a friend told me it has nothing to do with oblivion so it dont matter. but i also heard that this has a dwarf race and it has elswyr AND cyrodil. this is gonna be bigger than every GTA ever made put together x2.

i think its a custom engine called the Offset Engine based on the Havok engine but after the intel switch it may change

@0Djclum0 no its code named project offset, as it is using the offset engine, something 3 students designed, then they teamed up with intel and made it even better, everything is shaded in real time, and all rendering and motion blurring done after the cells load, not what your bog-standard rpg does eh?

Im following PO since 05. This game was going to go for consoles but since Intel bought them in 08 this game is going exclusive PC. I'm Hoping it will be an excluse game for Intel Larrabee video cards!!!
