great video, although i don't agree with the closing quote. i would argue that a secure future *would* in fact make people more adventurous. the problem, however, lies in how we approach security. we currently consider security as an individual endeavor when in fact it has a lot more to do with how we take care of each other in society.
@fuckenps3 the film was made at uni as a side project and cost no money. if you want Hollywood then you're simply another drone, conditioned to the expectations of a monetary-based, economic system. chill out and smoke a joint :)
@fuckenps3 have you ever heard of the phrase if you havent got anything nice to say the dont say it. this was a university project that was worked on very hard. a lot of effort went into this and quite frankly your remarks are just plain rude and aren't supported by anything other than your opinion. to say that this video was poorly made is suggesting that you could do something better, i highly doubt that. spread your bile and hatred somewhere else your pathetic little individual.
@superrozzy I have heard that phrase, it's stupid. Negative comments exist to show what's wrong with something so that it can be improved. Much like what TZM aims to do.
If you're taking my comments as rude, then you need a reality check.
To say it's poorly made, does not suggest anything but the fact that it seems poorly made.
Why are you telling me what to do? What is wrong with you people?
@fuckenps3 I see what you're saying, but it was a university project, not a hollywood production. And most people haven't heard these ideas already, reaching even a few new minds is worth it in my estimations.
What happens on the day we tackle every problem we could ever encounter in this little pocket of existence? I'd imagine we'll move onto new worlds and help others with their development without too much interference, you know, just make sure those nukes don't go off. ;)
great work Pompey, lovely to see the students engrossed within the movement.
For me watching the Zeitgeist Addendum was a slap of reality round the face, it totally changed the way i live my life. I have been A Zeitgeist activist for about 2 years now and one of the biggest problems i can see is not may after educating themselves with the movement actually change their minds. People are just so dependent on the system and closed minded they simply dont possess the capacity for change.
@wroclaw100 This is a rhetoric i see over and over and over. What I dont see is any constructive discussion on how to change at the individual level. How can a man who depends on his livelyhood to feed his family change his way of life to meet the goals of TGM. If you could enlighten me id appreciate it.
@tarkonis Obviously it would be a gradual process, carefully planned and executed. Im of the opinion that RBE pockets of society should be created at first to test the theory in principle. These trial cities could be developed in Africa for example and the first people to test the new way of life would essentially be volunteers. In any case there is no question unanswered on the FAQ section of the Venus Projects web site.
@tarkonis changing on an individual level is not really an option as long as we live in a monetary system. Personal sacrifices usually result in yourself and your family being worse off financially.
A good vid pointing out the need for transition to a sustainable world, for RBE's and a need to end the present Capitalist Bankster system as we know it.

@O5CARMICHA3L Hahahaha, angry much?
Same could be said about you, fucking hypocrite.
Not my fault the production values of the video are poor, and the video conveys knowledge that is easily found in hundreds of other videos.

@stathamajf Having seen many similar videos my opinion is biased.
Hopefully this video has introduced some important topics to newbies.
That being said, my initial comment is not withdrawn.

Just curious, but why record Ben in front of a green screen, if you weren't going to replace the background?
