Rabbs, aren't you curious about whats inside tefillin? I mean... how do we "really know" there's holy scriptures in there? What if we're just told that, but really... maybe there are some very frustrated rabbinical scholars scribbling and expressing their own twarted disappointments, thoughts, ideas & desires and then sealing them in those boxes? Nobody would "really know" becuz the boxes remain shut. I can just "imagine" what SURPRISES might really be hidden in there!! Humm...
Well, I've actually seen the parchments inside my Tefillin, and they are kosher. We inspect the scriptures written on those parchments twice every seven years to make sure that they are still in tact.
