What's the difference between USASOC and normal JM courses? I take it only the aircraft variety? Or is there technique difference?

Can a Benning JM transfer into USASOC without additional training?

Master Parachutist Badge is the proper name but you can’t get this without going thru a Jumpmaster Course of some type. 90% of the ARMY calls it the JM Badge. These JM had already done PWAC & jumps for 2 C-130; 1 UH-60; 1 UH-60 H2O Jump & 2 CASA. I have worked with Benning JM that have no clue on Non standard Aircraft, GMRS, VIRS or water drops etc. and get sick in AC; we don’t just look for green light! There is always a person who wants to steal another person’s thunder; just say great job.

Well there is no Jumpmaster badge, just the title of jumpmaster. And as a student you can put jumpers out but they will be other jumpmasters in your class. Anyone like myself who is a Benning JM knows what JM school truly is. Being in an actual harness, hanging out an AC with out the net and then putting other students out and jumping after. And I am in USASOC as well. Looks like this class got shorted true JM techiniques

@keepithuman Flight track was 1500 feet. No jumpers went out; its the final grade to see if they will earn the title of JumpMaster. Since he is not yet a jumpmaster he cant put out any paratroopers.

I guess I shouldnt be looking at this since i am only in week 1 of the USASOC Jumpmaster Course.
