Saw them in may in sevilla Spain, can't wait to see them again in november in Brussels Belgium... Son Volt and those other bands Tweedy played in were his first attemps. Wilco is now an absolute mature band ( at least someone payed tribute to George Harrison if you listen to "You never know").. and i must admit i hadn't had so much fun to listen to a band since Little Feat .... and the Jayhawks.

tweedy wipes the floor with jay farrar when it comes to songwriting amigo. its the truth. and this is coming from a big fan of both son volt and wilco. i might give you the singing thing but farrars voice is only better on the true country stuff ie trace. tweedys voice is more versatile

ohh thats not true at all. tweedy is one of the best song writers of all time, and look who he is playing with: glenn kotche for one thing and also nels cline, probably one of the best guitar players around. Farrar is talented, but tweedy excels at songwriting and his voice is a powerful a versatile addition to the band.
