In response I do work hard dole dossers dont work or contribute to the economy round them up and get rid of them if you have more kids than you can afford take them away if you can't afford a house its took away stop moaning about people who atleast the pay tax
Did these bankers any one of them actually predict the biggest collapse in financial history? How come they missed that but want millions to forecast again -I say employ only those that either spoke out against those bad practices or ask at the interview why these blue eyed boys missed the big one? Let them go where ever they want to it is this bunch that collapsed the banks in the first place -They can go and play and collapse things as they like elsewhere -Blackmail is a crime in my book
Lord Mandelson, Milliband's boss backed the bonus, and it was the Brown government of which Milliband was part which drew up the contract. What hypocrisy.
Why is labour moaning when they waved thru bonuses for years they only say the opposite of tories if a tory said the sky was blue miliband would say its not and then get on his knees and suck off a union boss
Would rather see a banker who was employed to make money for the country get a bonus than the lazy dole dossers who have never worked get money for their big tvs sky and fags they are the scum we should crack down on maybe we should have camps where they break rocks all day that will get them in employment and if they can't afford kids simple take them off them we could employ the kids to walk in a big wheel generating electricity! And if familys still wont work send them to Afghanistan
This is a terrible thing for a conservative to say. Compensation in financial services is very exposed to market forces. The compensation is in-line with the skills set it takes to excel in the industry. Everyone who excels in finance is exceptionally talented.
Stephen Hester's payments would amount to no more than a rounding error at the bank, and credit card fraud alone, costs RBS hugely more. In addition, Stephen Hester and the board can walk away, for better terms and conditions across the street. And if across the street senses that it will be under government pressure, it, too, can walk away: Frankfurt, Dubai... Finally, no one is stopping Red Ed or Vince the Vicious et al, from taking Stephen Hester's job, for less pay.
@boldertits Nor could the banks, if they did not have the 'elected' government to hold the banks' backs, so that the profits can be privatised and the losses socialised, and the electorate can pass the blame for the consequences of the moral hazard that they voted for, to others.
@skeletorphd In actual fact I read the "Guardian". Mr. Fester may well have agreed a pay rate with "Lie-bore but the other Bullingdonian, Cameron, could have stopped it at any time. Its obvious the Bullingdonian clique have been putting pressure on Fester to forego his "bonus", so as to prevent Cameron having to appear before a commitee to explain why he failed to prevent it.
how many times will you fall for their open lies?.....a civil war is coming george and if you think you will be safe you wont....your overlords will but you are marked....
@sail1948 not at all, the sad thing is they are provoking it on purpose to get full control and impliment the police state....they have been preparing this for some time....

I hope your all enjoying this smokescreen to cover the huge bonuses being paid out.
1 million is a drop in the ocean compared the this country's debt and other bonuses being paid to gambling bankers.
A cap on pay is needed.
Nobody should be able to earn over 1 million pounds a year.
1 million is enough for any human to survive on. Just think we could solve poverty starvation and housing if governments reflected the peoples views.
A western spring is needed.

@boldertits Premier football players get paid many millions of pounds, a year, and I have yet to hear any serious complaints about that.
charlessmyth 3 weeks ago
@charlessmyth
Football players don't gamble with a nations wealth. Football players don't hide money with huge complicated sums.
1 million a year is enough for anyone footballer or morally corrupt banking.
A world wage cap is needed.
